But how can they not see anyone in the background there? I mean the dais was completely full of people behind him. This is more or less a straight on angle. Where are the people? How is it pure blue sky behind him? Seems weird.

Also, those people behind him in the upper rows look a lot closer than they probably are. Focal length and all that.

Eh, maybe. Still looks pretty close to me, too close for one to be nothing but clear blue sky. Also if that were the angle, straight up at the sky, then the bullet would actually be below shoulder level to appear where the streak is, not at head level, in that perspective anyway. Still looks weird to me.
So this kid who lost his marbles and tried to shoot Trump apparently tried out for Rife team but was rejected for poor shooting. Guess he didnt prove them wrong. I guess he was also and outcast like most of these shooting rampage kids. It sounds like at least one classmate says he was usually the only conservative in his class.
Conservatives obviously trying to spin this as something more than a deranged loner kid. Whenever a conservative does something (which is very often in comparison since they are the majority of domestic terrorism) its either deny it actually happened or it was a one off. When they think it was a liberal its a whole thing that is tied to every last person who even remotely doesnt lean hardcore right. But it seems facts are leaning towards this kid being a conservative right now.

I had read your link, and wondered about the comment from a classmate that the shooter always argued a conservative point of view in debates. Which led me to a search of comments from neighbors. The NY Post isn’t on the rational side of our political divide, IMO, and yes, it’s a tabloid, but I posted it as a reply to you, rather than stand alone, because it was your comments and link that initiated a search on the subject.
