What's new

Donald Trump

Welcome aboard fish, I've never seen you so heated and post about a politician since ever. I especially like the following line:

"How would Trump solve the Israel-Palestinian dispute? "I'm a negotiator." Unfortunately for Trump, he then contradicted himself, saying that he would announce that he was "pro-Israel... I would like to at least have the other side think I am at least somewhat neutral to them" to get a deal done."

I couldn't agree more. I would like to know what he means by being pro-Israel, this is a very vague label that could mean many different things. Is he implying that he's anti-Palestine? What exactly does being pro-Israel mean? The only thing I find appealing about Trump is that for some reason some voices in the Republican establishment (Romney for instance) do not want him to be the party's nominee by any means. Maybe they think that out of his outrageous character he might make decisions on his own that are contrary to the establishment's interests.
Ya I hate trump.
I copy and pasted those words from an article though

Gotcha, I agree with that line nonetheless. What Trump brings to the table is kind of unprecedented, people either love him or hate him seems like. I'm in neither side at this point.

I'm a person that really thinks manners are important. Even if I agreed with everything Trump said (I agree with very little if anything he says) I still could not support him because he clearly was not raised right. He has terrible manners.

Yup, he could sure be more cautious in his statements. I think with his hardcore followers it boils down to "He's a jerk, but he's our jerk."

The best part of that was the ending:
Wait, what? These debates are televised, right?

A truly DOHHH moment for Trump, but I don't think most of his supporters are paying enough attention to care. On the other side of the coin, I was impressed by Rubio's grasp of the situation.

Rubio had one particularly good line last night. Trump was spouting some nonsense and trying to hide his lack of understanding under a veil of not being willing to be politically correct. Rubio says, "It's not a matter of being politically correct. It's a matter of being correct." His timing was perfect. I haven't heard any analysis today but, if the media really chose to play it up, that could become one of those game changer moments.

In truth, I'm suspicious that some powerful people actually want Trump to win the nomination because they plan to descimate him in the general. I heard a rumor that there is some extremely damaging video of him relating to sexism, racism and mob ties. If it exists, why aren't we seeing it now? If that sort of stuff suddenly shows up in the summer it will be hard not to suspect that someone was simply holding on to it and waiting to annihilate him once the GOP was committed in order to ensure a Hillary victory.

Heh, mob ties...

I thought it was funny when they were talking about the violence at trump rallies and all the other candidates were saying they don't condone any sort of violence or something like that.

Like, could we just rewind back to the segment on foreign relations for a second and have you repeat that?

Well, reap what you sow. He cancelled his rally in Chicago tonight. The great unifier is finally seeing some serious backlash. Talk like he has, and this is the result.

This afternoon, in St. Louis. saying the protesters are "hurting this country", "go home and get a job", "these are not good people, folks", "these are the people who are destroying our country"

His words. Words encouraging civil war. If you are his supporter, and this is how your hero is talking, does this calm you down? Amazing that he is talking this way. Deliberate encouragement of an atmosphere of civil war. The mob cheering. Inciting a mob while running for POTUS.

I wonder if these people protesting his events realize they're pushing more voters towards Trump. I'm assuming they don't.
Haha. Yeah, they keep this up and they'll deliver every last member of the KKK right into Trump's lap. Suckers I tell ya!
