Donation ethical question

I think it is extremely dumb how much people spend to essentially place a corpse into some dirt.

I have told everyone in my family and my wife that when i die i want them to spend as little money possible.

Preferably they throw my body in a dumpster and be done with it.

Its hard enough for the living to get over the grief and whatnot without having to come up with thousands of dollars for a funeral.

I dont want to be a burden on my loved ones when im dead

I'm going to get a decent life insurance policy on me and my wife. But I am with you. I am dead so I don't care. They can puree me and poor me over the flower garden as fertilizer for all I care. But then funerals are more about those left behind than they are those that died.

Likely don't have much set aside and spend what they get. I don't see a problem with it anyways. Don't donate if you disapprove.

Should I be unable to take enzyte just because I have a nine inch penis?

I'm not saying they shouldn't be able to receive donations. I just find it very unfortunate that a family of means would even set something like this up.

Funerals are more for the grieving than the dead. I think people spend money cause it makes a tiny bright spot in a dark situation.

Say you die and your family spends tons on a funeral and now they are sad because they miss you AND they cant afford thier bills which makes them more depressed than they already were.

How is that a bright spot?

I have been to funerals and i was never thinking "so and so died but this awesome funeral makes it much better, so glad for this bright spot."

Nawimean?

It's a time to celebrate that person's life.

It's just my opinion. I know my mom would be sad no matter what, but she would still want to have a beautiful funeral, even if it put her in a tight situation. When my brother died, my mom felt his funeral was her last act of service to him.

Which is families setting up online donation accounts to cover funeral costs.
Thoughts?

First, your English is horrific. Was that supposed to be a complete and coherent sentence? Judas priest.

Anyway, in regards to your post, yeah, man, I've noticed it as well. I've seen from time to time families setting up these kinds accounts in the face of some tragedy. Some folks have been caught because their claims have been bogus. I've read about other accounts being bogus because the person setting them up has had nothing to do with the family and was just scamming folks. The grift is high in our society. It's the sign of the times.

I've got two scenarios where the mindset is similar.

I know one girl who moved down here from SF. She had a hard time finding work down here and had some "BBQ fundraiser." The fundraiser was for donations so she could pay her bills. I know another girl who texted a bunch of people, me included, to some game night at her place. She wanted people to donate money to her as well, so she could handle her bills. It's mind boggling to me.

I have friends on Facebook that ask for donations so they can travel the world and make a difference in poor people's lives. Smh.

I have a mission companion who begs on Facebook for loans so he can pay his bills. But then is also showing pictures of him partying.....
