Donovan’s getting in the rookie/sophomore Game for sure. I also would be surprised if he doesn’t get in the dunk contest. Skills challenge I doubt and 3 point contest is a no. Donovan’s good at 3s he’s not one of the best in the league at them. I’d love to see him make the All Star Game as well and if the Jazz had a winning record I’d give him half a chance but I don’t see it happening this year. If the Jazz pull things together next season and continues his amazing play he’ll make it within the next year or two I’m sure. The west is just so overloaded with guys at his spot and that makes it difficult as well. I love Donovan but it’s hard to imagine he gets the nod his first season. He’s playing like it, but unfortunately he probably won’t be getting into the actual game. He’ll be at all star weekend for sure. This year I think Jazz fans should hope dunk contest and ROY for him, although even there I feel he’ll get slighted unless he plays out of his mind after All Star weekend, and he may. He’s never stopped surprising yet.
