What's new

Donovan Mitchell is a Trash Player

It’s apparent that either Rudy or DM have to go. Who that is and for what can be debated, but it’s time to turn the page.

Don is a good player but he does have some shortcomings and he should be the one to follow his daddy Q out the door imo.
1. First and foremost, his pettiness - as Andy Larson suggested in his article, he is purposely freezing Gobert out even when he is wide open below the rim apparently due to a rift between them.
2. He never should have been named captain over Gobert.
3. He regularly only plays one end of the court.
4. He is too small to be a team’s iso player in crunch time.
5. He plays with blinders on in crunch time.
6. He will break down just like DRose broke down due to playing style.
7. His feet are too damn big for the rest of his body, leading to miscues off the dribble and unnecessary turnovers. That’s a size 16 folks!

Y'all think Rudy hooked up with Don's ex or like hooked up with a chick Don was trying to talk to?

Also 100% Klay went off on us cuz Rudy was with Klay's ex

All of them have flaws, but they are my guys as long as they are Jazzmen.
No matter what, Jazz need the best of them, be it with us or in the way they part ways with us.
These players are responsible only for their game in an hyper competitive league that do not forgive mistakes.
And the big mistakes have not being done on court by our players or coaches.
IMHO, no matter what, neither of our guys deserve a thread like this one.

Honestly, I didn't buy too much into the fact that Don was purposely freezing Gobert out, but that play does make you wonder. Either he is, he's blind, too dumb to make the pass, or really believes he is the only best option at all times.

Any of those four choices are a massive isssue.

I don't think he's trash, but he's definitely changed a lot over the years. Sometimes I really miss rookie Don...he was so humble and likeable, and he played the game so free and with so much joy and enthusiasm. He's obviously a much better player now but just not quite as likeable or fun to watch IMO.

I went and watched the 2nd half and here are a couple of musings. Way too many turnovers between Royce and Bojan. Plus Klay roasted Royce on D. Why doesn't Quin incorporate another offense or system to run from time to time? It seems like the Jazz were too predictable coming down the stretch. Whiteside was hot garbage last night. If Quin plays Monroe, the Jazz probably win. Our bench did what it was supposed to do. Conley played great. Rudy Gay has suddenly become Uncle Jeff. If Quin gave him Whiteside's minutes the outcome might have been different.

DM will continue to make clutch mistakes as long as they insist in instill a PG in him. He's a natural born superb scorer. Let him be what he is when the game is on the line or when it's time to keep a 20+ score. We were supposed to use all this assest and money in Mike for a reason, didn't we?

Waiting for LoPoo to post "I didn't watch the game last night, but Don was perfect in every way and everyone else sucked."
Nah. I'm.... whats the word.........? Objective. That's right. Objective.

Good look it up.

Don sucked last night and should pass to Rudy more.
