Dame didn't win the slam dunk contest.
He's not as likable as Donovan.
Did Dame average 20 PPG his rookie year?
Did Dame lead his team into the second round his rookie year and avg. 24 pts in the playoffs?
Did dame talk **** all over the fake Rookie Of The Year with Adidas branded ammunition?
Was dame the face of the NBA during summer league after his rookie year?
Did dame's girlfriend get hit on?
Did dame attend three 4th of July BBQ's with his fans?

Help me out here...

Hell yes, I know that. Just listing the reasons Donovan will get his shoe earlier than Dame. Figured you could chime in with more.

I just think with Puma also joining the sneaker race, Adidas better step up their game, and strike while the Donovan's iron is hot.

Sure, Nike has Kyrie, LeBron, Kobe, Durant.. but those shoes are getting stale IMO.

For someone like me who's looking for something fresh and exciting, and a different look to the Dame 4, then The 'Spida 1' could be the answer.
 
Also who's hotter at the moment: Dame or Donovan?

Donovan's Jazz finished higher than Portland, took the Jazz to the playoffs and went to the 2nd round. Jazz is the team on the rise while POR is contemplating blowing the team up (rumour).

Considering all of that, does it make sense for Donovan to wear Dame's shoes for 1+ more year?

I mean, there’s no doubt Donovan is going to be a super star....and I would love to see DM get this. Just seems very early if I’m looking at it through Adidas lense.
