Jordan's freshman year stats...It's hard to judge 18 year olds.

college stats only tell half the story. stat wise wiggins is doing great. i would say it's B to B+. but i wish he takes that next step and consistently drop 20. offense runs in various ways in self's system.
i can see wiggins imediately avg 17/5 in year 1 in nba. dude is no doubt a tremendous talent. but again, i can also see him being struggling first few years and having 'potential' tag too. it's hard to project guys like wiggins because guys like that never consistently show what they have. at least not so far. we will know more about him in March. if he is Lebron like talent then you have to expect him to make some serious noise in march. i want to see that step back more consistently. i want to see him put the ball on the floor bit more. i want him to use his weak hands bit more. i also need to see more versatility from him - bit more passing, and bit more toughness in 1 on 1 situation. and maybe bit more selfishness. i don't like iso ball, but sometimes wiggins look too passive to me. kinda like how glen robinson jr plays - just too unselfish and just get lost sometimes.
right now i just feel like he hasn't put together a great portfolio yet. yes, it's too early, but march will be here pretty fast. when i see Jabari, i know exactly what he is gonna do, what he is gonna become, and what kinda impact he will bring immediately. i don't even care if he goes 5-20 in 1 game and looks bad. i know his game because he shows you his game. but wiggins? that dude is a tricky pony. it's like he is keeping a big secret. it's like he is holding it for the championship round. i need to see more before crown him.
alot of things can change from now till end of march. wiggins could solidify #1 pick status if he starts putting up jaw dropping numbers and plays. IMO, parker will not go lower than #2 because everybody knows he is a sure bet.
