What's new

Don't look now, but...

When did I say that?
You said that the reason we are two games out of 6th place is due to our road record. Which I agree is part of the reason. I think injuries are a bigger reason we are two games out of 6th place though.
And I will make and nice and easy for you to know why I think that.

See I think that if favors and Gobert didn't miss so many games then we would have won some more home games and some more road games which would have us in the 6th seed or better... Even though our home vs road record would still not be ask that great

Also, Derrick has played 4 more home games than road games.

You have to feel like we win one of the Knicks or Hornets games with Derrick, if not both, but yeah, we suck on the road. Really hope we can get 2 of these next 3

I'm looking at the position we are in right now and looking forward instead of backward with excuses. If this team can win on the road then we can get the fifth seed. That's not going to happen this season, and the road losses is the largest hurdle this team needs to jump.

You plucked a quote and ignored the overall point. Am I all of the sudden supposed to take you genuinely instead of your trolling history?
Lol

So you are wondering if I'm being genuine when I say that I think the biggest factor keeping the jazz from being a higher seed is injuries?

Yes I'm being genuine. Not trolling at all. That is honestly my opinion.

It's probably the opinion of almost everyone I would think. Yet you think I'm just trolling.

You are just as silly as ever Frank

I can't follow your logic. I'm talking about the road record...

I can't understand you. You said our road record is the reason for where we are in the standings.
I agreed that is a factor and agree that we are not good on the road and it's a problem.

I simply said that I think the biggest reason for our position in the standings is injuries.

It's almost like you think that because I say that injuries are the biggest reason for where we are in the standing that somehow means that I disagree with you when you say we are not good on the road.

There can actually be multiple reasons why the jazz are still 2 games from the 6th seed. I never said your reason is wrong or isn't valid. I just added a reason of my own.

You are a special person and your opinions are very valid and important Frank.
I'm sorry that I didn't only go exactly with what you said and instead added my own opinion into the reasoning for the jazz playoff position.

I will try to just agree with you in the future

Injuries are an even bigger reason

So is having a PG tandem of Neto and Burke. Both are backup quality players.
EVERY team (well, except for Washington) has a better home vs. road record, Yes, Utah's is worse than teams with better records. Compare the 5 1/2-game difference vs. Memphis: Utah is 2 1/2 back in home games and 3 in road games. Jazz have a better home record than Dallas, but are 3 worse on the road.

I think the goal of a good team (50 wins) is to win 29-30 at home and finish around .500 on the road (20-21 wins). Teams like Memphis, Atlanta, Chicago, etc. are on that type of pace. Does Utah need to win a few more road games? Yes, certainly, OR they need to be a lot better at home, which was the mark of the Stockton/Malone teams. Do the Jazz need to get healthy and stay healthy. Yes, having Favors and Gobert back leads to wins. Do the Jazz need to get better contribution from the PG spot? Yes.

Stop the bickering and enjoy the ride. I don't discriminate. Anyone who wants aboard the hype train can step on up.

Let's gooooooo.

8 of our next 12 are on the road.

@Suns
@Mavs
@Pels
@Wiz
Celts
@Blazers
Rockets
Spurs
Nets
@Celts
@Raptors
@Grizz

This is a huge stretch. Honestly, if we can go 6-6, I'd be content. 7-5 and I'd be very happy. 8-4 and I'd be thrilled.
