Down in the DLeague

For me, D-League could be the place where the most chotic basketball being played. Zero coaching, no evidence of gameplan for most of the teams.

Pg's are like playing NBA 2k my player games. Ballhogging forever, assisting to fill the stat sheet.

Top D-League performers are nearly ALWAYS backcourt players. Guess why? Because of swaggy pg/sg's.
Chris Douglas-Roberts, Andrew Goudelock, Kent Bazemore, Pierre Jackson, Glen Rice (SF) etc etc.

D-League is worse than Summer League imho.
College has its own style of basketball. Most D-League games are like pickup games.
Hate you NBDL!!

Another DLeague dude worth keeping an eye on is Manny Harris playing with the LA Defenders. He has a career scoring average in the NBA of about 6.5 points over 80 games for the Cavs. He's a 6'5" 2 guard from Michigan and was undrafted in the 2010 joining Jeremy Lin in the undrafted status that year. That was the year Favors was picked #3 Hayward #9 and Jeremy in the 2nd roun.d

Last night I was in attendance as the No. 1 and No. 2 propsects squared off against each other. The No. 1 propsect Devin Ebanks a former Lakers 2nd round pick and the Pelicans 2nd round pick Pierre Jackson. Jackson had 41 points and Ebankds had 17 in a double OT win for Jackson's team. There was a smaller point guard playing for the Texas team that was the WCC player of the year in 2011 and he had 31 points and 5 assists. Also how is this for a line. Dee Bost who was in Portland's camp this fall and is a point guard had 19 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists. The 16 rebounds is impressive for a point guard since former NBA big Melvin Ely was in the game. I think Ebanks is better than RJeff and Rush right now. All of the aforementioned points are better than Luke3.

Gtf... Melvin Ely.. aint dude like 42 years old?
Ebanks is trash, couldnt stand him at WVU.. always overhyped.

Aint nobody picked up Pierre Jackson yet?? Well.. if Melvin Ely is wobbling around in the D League letting Dee Bost get all the rebounds...

People around the Stampede tell me that New Orleans still has Jackson's rights. He signed with a team in Europe and was either waived or kicked off. How he is playing in the DLeague and not counting against New Orleans 15 players is byond me. So I suspect teams aren't willing to sign him and then have New Orleans demand a ransom.

Suprised some Lakers hoppers with jailhouse tats havent started a demand to the Buss family to sign Pierre Jackson.

Regardless.. N.O.P probably letting Jackson marinade in.the DLeague.
