So what you are saying is that you are a closet Phoenix Suns fan. That is just great BTP.

No I'm just saying that I like good quality basketball and Phoenix is showing that. So I'm watching. I'm also watching the Pacers amongst others. Does that mean I'm a Pacers fan? No! It means I'm a fan of the ball that the Pacers play right now. Or do you think wanting Dragic makes me a Pacers fan?

Am I the only one that thinks Marcus Smart strongly resembles Russel Westbrook? I'm not sure if he'd be #3 for me in this draft, but I think he'd be a solid choice.

So, the Jazz have the #3 pick. Is Kanter, Burks and #3 enough to move up to #2? Then a GM could have Smart, Kanter and Burks for the #2 pick. Not too bad. They would be the new Kings. Same players, better attitude. Lol.

Anyways, I think Parker or Wiggins is available at #3. Someone will call in love with size and potential. GM's can't help themselves.

Then why trade that much to move up?

I think this depends on who's BPA and who's looking for best fit. For example if Randle is clear cut #2 then that's possible, because for example Philly wouldn't really need him IMO. They'd want Exum or Parker if they don't get Wiggins(unless they have miracle workers who can transform Nerlens Noel into Hulk). So if they would take Randle primarily for retooling and trades at #2(e.g. letting both Randle and Noel play for another 2015 pick and then decide who makes the team) then they might be tempted to take an offer like to swap picks and get their player at a lower salary. I also think giving up Kanter + Burks for 1 slot is way too much. I think Burks + future 2nd is more reasonable. But that would depend on who's picking where and if there's a concensus BPA at these slots.

I'm all for Embiid. I like him more than Randle at this point, and Smart and Exum are both SG/PG, which I don't think is a big need. If Jazz were at 4 and Parker/Wiggins/Embiid are both gone, then it gets a little tricky. Do you take Randle and play him over Kanter, or Exum and move Hayward to SF?

Not sure if any of you have seen this, but this the highlights from the Nike Peach Jam. Andrew Wiggins Vs Julius Randle!

- Wiggins, shows me in this game that given the green light, he really can be an amazing player. He's always watching where the ball is and dominating on both ends, especially in the open court.

- Randle, is one of the best finishers in traffic that I've ever seen! He would be absolutely perfect not just for the NBA but also the NBA Playoffs, where intensity rises. People would try to foul him but his double-pump power moves are just impossible to stop.

Both players have incredible focus and fearlessness. They went right at each other like two warriors defending their countries' honor! So cool to see players with that kind of passion for the game these days. I just don't see that as much anymore.

I would seriously empty the entire roster to get these two guys. They're both scoring machines while also being excellent defenders. The rest of the team could be made up of role players. In fact, the rest of the team, I would fill with athletic defenders. If you need a bucket in a close game, I'd pass it into Randle and watch him power his way through 2-3 defenders. He really is that good. Wiggins, along with some good defender teammates would be amazing in the open court as well as keeping the pace of the game high. Of course, it would take real vision and faith to do this. If they're not willing to pull the trigger then I most definitely will.

Don't get me wrong, I think Parker will be a great player as well. The same with Hakeem 2.0. There's just something more about Wiggins and Randle that makes other players just go ooh and aah. That tends to work in your favor. :)

Of course, I know many of you saw this game, but this is what sold me on him.

"Terrific strength and terrific concentration".

Plus, he has amazing body control and touch around the rim.

I think I take Embiid 3rd. True centers that can be a primary offensive option and can anchor a defense are perhaps the rarest type of player and also the easiest to build around.

My dream scenario would be to get Parker or Wiggins and Embiid. But at third, if Parker and Wiggins are gone, right now it is between Exum and Embiid for me.

I just want the Jazz to get two picks in the top 6 or 7. If we could do that without giving up Burke, Hayward or Favors, we could be ridiculously good.

Think about a lineup of Burke, Exum, Hayward, Favors and Embiid. That would probably be one of the best defensive lineups in the league, and would have a chance to win a bunch of games.
