What's new

Draft pics owned by Jazz

Let's hope someone worth wanting becomes available via trade in the coming couple of years.

Shan Foster is retired. Since we drafted for his rights I say he has to do yard work for Utah Jazz fans until he pays off his wasted trade value.
So is Peter Fehse. Retired players never stopped the NBA from approving the Gasol trade. We ought to include one of those guys in a trade and then threaten to sue the NBA if they don't let it go through.

I know we've traditionally had some success in the second round but, considering how young our roster already is, do we even need ANY of those second rounders? I mean, keep the first rounders, but we could totally do without every single one of those second round picks.

Obviously, I know we're not going to use them, but it's gonna take a lot to get rid of them all. I don't reckon we'll get much of a return for any single one, pairings of them, or groups of them. I look at what Danny Ainge has done at acquiring FIRST round picks in Boston. Those have value but I guess I don't quite see the value in a truckload of second rounders over the next five years.

Late 1st's are sometimes a liability as you're locked into a guaranteed contract.

Not a bad collection. Esp the nets unprotected and right to swap. It's a dark era to be a Nets fan.
2015 5-1sts no chance for lotto except for their own
2016 2-1sts (nets unprotected)
2017 1-1st right to swap w/nets
2018 2-1sts (nets unprotected)
Includes his own.

I think the most valuable picks collections goes Celtics, Sixers, Jazz.

It sucks that we get OKC's pick in 2018, IF they make the playoffs. I'm thinking they might implode before then.
