So is Peter Fehse. Retired players never stopped the NBA from approving the Gasol trade. We ought to include one of those guys in a trade and then threaten to sue the NBA if they don't let it go through.Shan Foster is retired. Since we drafted for his rights I say he has to do yard work for Utah Jazz fans until he pays off his wasted trade value.
Late 1st's are sometimes a liability as you're locked into a guaranteed contract.I know we've traditionally had some success in the second round but, considering how young our roster already is, do we even need ANY of those second rounders? I mean, keep the first rounders, but we could totally do without every single one of those second round picks.
Obviously, I know we're not going to use them, but it's gonna take a lot to get rid of them all. I don't reckon we'll get much of a return for any single one, pairings of them, or groups of them. I look at what Danny Ainge has done at acquiring FIRST round picks in Boston. Those have value but I guess I don't quite see the value in a truckload of second rounders over the next five years.
Gadzooks, we could fill half our roster with the 2017 picks alone.
And as I said prior to the '14 draft.. '17 is a monster. Like, a scary monster.
Not a bad collection. Esp the nets unprotected and right to swap. It's a dark era to be a Nets fan.I look at what Danny Ainge has done at acquiring FIRST round picks in Boston.
So... is that good or bad for us?
