Draft reform vote coming up

I don't know if you can blame everything on poor management. Many of the picks these teams made were praised by the media, analysts, and fans. Derrick Williams and Tyreke Evans were supposed to turn their franchises around. Many on this board were praying that Wesley Johnson would somehow fall to the Jazz. It is impossible to know exactly how a player will pan out once they start getting massive paychecks. It's even harder to get picks correct now since the top prospects don't even play 5-on-5 at the combine. This can make it difficult to tell if someone's skillset will translate to the NBA or not.
Just like Humphries and Snyder were praised by the media. Jazz got A's from just about every media source for that draft. Most bad franchises are where they are because of some combination of bad ownership, management, coaching, financial decisions, etc. Other franchises go through periods of rebuilding and rise again (Chicago, LA, Boston, etc.).

If the vote passes, the Jazz will be in good shape. Management will not allow this team to do an all out tank. The Jazz will never, ever finish bottom 3.

What's your plan then?

My plan would be to get rid of the lotto altogether. Along with max contracts. Also I'd reduce the season by 24 games so there's less meaningless games. All these reform plans do is hurt the teams that need the most help. The whole point of a draft system is to get the best help to the bottom team.

We very well could this year. We really didn't improve the roster(at least not in the short term) Hayward has his contract. Favors got screwed on his. Exum should probably be on a ventilator. Booker is basically a wash with losing Marvin(Marvin fit better tbh). Novak played how many mins last year? Gobert improved but he is still very raw if we are being honest. Sure a guy could explode this year or the team could implode.

We could always euthanize All stars. That would help the ****ty teams out.
