Oh that's cool than... I though he had a opt in option for next year and assumed he is not leaving guaranteed money.

Stauskas jumper is as close to shooting perfection as possible ( not named R. Allen or Hornacek ).
Vonleh seems very much like a large handed version of Chris Bosh... best case scenario. If we get Bosh out of the draft, we are not swinging for the fences... Perhaps a double at best. I think that Aaron Gordon can learn to shoot. His ability to score will improve. He has more of the 'it' factor than I think Vonleh will ever have. Gordon with the ability to score would be the #1 pick in this draft. He could become one of the top 3 picks from the draft over time whereas Vonleh won't.
Plus... I HATE Brad Pitt. He could have any weem and he settled for the 'Jolis'? Yuck. Go big or go home. That goes for the Jazz, the Brad, and the Bra!
But Vonleh creates a logjam upfront. We still have M. Williams remember? If we draft Vonleh one of the bigs is gone. I just don't see how Vonleh is upgrade over Kanter or Favors?
Elephant in the living room says:
If the Jazz draft Noah Vonleh at #5, they could potentially trade Favors and give more minutes to Gobert at the center spot. It's possible that Favors could yield another pick at #4 or #6 in the draft, enabling the Jazz to draft Dante Exum or Marcus Smart. That puts 5 shooters on the floor potentially.
Result:
Kanter / Gobert
Vonleh / Evans
Hayward / Evans
Burks / Hayward
Exum / Burke
Agree with those two points. However I still want the Jazz to get Smart. My biggest knock with Vonleh that is my biggest compliment to Smart is that I want a guy out there who has some sort of passion and competitive fire. Perhaps Vonleh has it and doesn't show it, but I want someone who does. This team feels so damn passive it's sickening at times.
Still, any of the consensus guys the Jazz draft at 5 I can find positives (and negatives) with, and I'd prefer to focus on the positives. Vonleh does seem like he has the potential for having a great all around game, and there's nothing bad about that. Hopefully he can hit it if the Jazz draft him.
If the Jazz get Saric or reach on a guy like McDermott is about the only way I'd feel bummed about the draft, only because both feel like a reach at that spot. At least with Saric I can see some real good potential as a 2nd banana type.
I have no problems with the Jazz taking Vonleh. I have my concerns about him, but the Vonlah cheerleaders here have convinced me that he has a ton of upside. A month ago I was bummed that he might be the pick for the Jazz, but now I'm totally fine with it.

I don't get why you guys want to draft another project 4 w/ the 5th pick. We already have enough of those already! Favors which we acquired and still is developing slowly, Kanter who also is moving along slowly and then there's Gobert. Do you guys get tired of that? Waiting around seeing if it works or not. For me I've said this numerous times, we need immediate help and get the guy that will step in and help that team right away. Not some dude, sitting on the bench most the time and playing just 15-18 min tops.
