It will be interesting to see if he does how much last years play increased his value. I believe he played for a very small amount last year. I would not be opposed to a 2-3 year deal for 2-3M per. Good backup that can start, if needed until they get a good young PG.

We really do need a prospect at PG over the next year or 2.

why go get Tinsley in a lockout shortened season. Price knows the system and is a cheap 3rd pg.

Tinsley is better. Do we know if Tinsley is playing on anything other than a min. deal? From what I've seen, I'm speculating it's a two year, non-guaranteed contract.

Jazz keeping on their two year plan to have absolutely no non-rookie contracts after the 2012-13 season.

I'm willing to bet no team was willing to do two years guaranteed other than the Jazz. Hawks might have done more money than the Jazz for a single year, but the second year I'm sure sealed it for Watson. That, and there's a mutual like between him and the organization.

Coud have fooled me. Price doesn't run the system so if he knows it then he is worse than I thought.

Give Price credit for being a hustle player. If he could do anything else I would love having him on the team. He does not do anything else. So I hate him on the team.

I am happy they were able to keep Watson. He is the best backup PG we have had for a very long time.

Other than a ballchinnian dunk over Boozer (and that on another team) Price hasn't done much. Won't miss him.

Thought of this when the Jazz came to terms with Tinsley and then signed Watson.
