Jazz plays by the rule too much sometimes..

Remember when we were tearing it up with the Green/Gold jersey one season.. we won more games as a % wearing those Green/Gold jerseys than the regular jerseys.

And why didn't we put on those jerseys during any of the playoff games that year?? Because league rules "prohibits" retro jerseys being used in the playoffs.

That same year the Cavs wore their retro jersey in most of their playoff games (or so it seems like).

Sometimes you've just got to say "What the Heck" and just "Do it"

Memo for Hamilton saves them about $15 millon, so, yeah I think that has some value. It also allows them to use their amnesty on Gordon or Villenueva instead. The sum total is significant savings.

I agree, though, they'll want a player.... which is difficult for me since beyond Raja I'd be reluctant. Raja + rights to Tomic? lol

Utah sends: Memo, GS pick, 2013 first (with some protection), Raja, Tomic
Detroit sends: Hamilton, Knight

Detroit has a bad year, but is loaded with picks in a stocked draft and has cap room. There are worse ways to rebuild, I suppose.

I'm not a Pistons fan, but even I'm saying no to that..

I think Jefferson is somebody they can keep. Pair him with their young PF in Monroe and you have a pretty good front court..
 
how about this:

Jazz amnesty Okur, then swap Harris + GS pick for Knight + Hamilton. We take it on the ear financially, but solve all our problems with this trade.... after we sign Watson as a backup. OP!

I'm quitting now. I'd like Knight.

Depends on who we sign instead. Watson is/was a horrible shooter. However, he does have a good A/TO ratio and can be a spot starter. And with Ty not planning very many changes to the basic offensive system, Watson does have more value as a guy who's already been with Utah one year vs. a new backup who would come in with less time to get up to speed.

Pretty accurate description. I was going to say something more like, "Picture the way Conan is towards BYU, and Salty is towards the Utes. Then picture 10-20 such individuals all applying that energy towards their guy but not towards the team as a whole."

The day Arroyo was traded did they go quietly or stage one last tantrum?
