I went to the Hacı Bekir today and they told me that Kaymaklı lokum would come to the stores 2 months later. Really dissappointed, I have been waiting for this day, goddammit.

can't believe Eid is less than a month away. Wish I lived closer to the middle East (particularly Turkey).

I don't know about everyone's tradition, but where I come from, the men are obligated to give family kids some money every Eid. And not like a dollar or two. Typically $10 for young kids, and $20 for older ones. Needless to say, I ****ing hate Eid.

Finally got my hands on Kaymaklı lokum and, man, it's the stuff of legends. It is easily the best kind of Tukish Delight I have ever eaten. Thanks Addie, thank you very much.
