Elijah Hughes, get on board!

I have Mo Almond syndrome sometimes where I get afraid that the lower drafted shooters may have an issue getting their shot off against NBA level competition. Jimmer fell into this category too. Hughes has none of those issues. He can get his shot whenever he wants

Maybe... its the super long threes that kinda seem overly aggressive. I guess it wouldn't be hard for him to tone it down like 15% when he's in with the regulars. Brantley's game either needs to cut 35% of the BS and improve the shooting or the BS has to get like 50% better then he becomes amazing.

I will change my previous statement. The defense needs to improve a lot from Hughes and he needs to tone it down just a hair. Having him as a third option when the ball is swinging around as a willing shooter (think Jae Crowder) but he also has a great first step and seems to get to the hoop when he wants to.

He's interesting.

When Tucker was taking those long 3's last season it felt that it comes from being too excited and forcing things, with Hughes it feels that he is really capable of hitting those.

I feel comfortable that we have enough rotation players to weather injuries and wind Joe's minutes back a touch. Think the roster holes are covered. Still curious to see how Mike is utilized and want to see it work with the starting unit. I wonder if he struggles if we will bend over backwards to accommodate him or just have the bus move out the station and hope he catches up.

After a slow start he looked good and we had some of those beautiful game moments... Mike was key in the run that won us the game.

I am not a native speaker so Boler always makes me question my English pronounciation skills.
Half the time he has the wrong guy anyway so it doesn't matter too much. Hughes is Ellijah and he keeps saying Eliza.

Boler is the Ayton of announcers... great physical talent but no awareness for what is going on but will fall into a few good calls here and there.

Tucker shot every 3 super reluctantly and they looked bad.

Hughes looks like he expects his shots to go in.
And while Tucker could get past his guy he drove without a plan and not nearly the finisher Hughes is... Hughes makes it look easy... like he is not trying all that hard. It all seems really natural.
