I agree with everything except when you say that Kanter would look like an All-star. I call bushwa.

Agree to disagree. W/ adequate perimeter defense, there is a lot less leakage, thus keeping kanter loose and the media/fans off his back. Loose kanter = beast offensive Kanter.within 2 years of playing loose, and seafood, sculpting, P3, Malone, Memo influenced offseasons, and I see Kanter as "looking" like an all star.

How does that improve his putrid man to man defense?

No worse than griffin, love, boozer, aldridge, dirk, even Malone.

Offensively gifted PF's are usually really bad at guarding each other. Surround them w/ good defenders and you're fine.

Also, enes is nowhere near as bad as people think he is. Favors is only .13 points per game allowed better then enes. That's 1 point every 10 games per David Locke on tip off this morning. I personally haven't looked this up today because I've been busy, but it sounds pretty similar to what I saw from my own research earlier this year.

Enes gets blamed for a lot of ****. Our team sucks defensively.

Not planning on getting pick 1-3 (or even 4).
Projected picks 4-9 are all power forwards or point guards. Not sure how much better than Kanter or Trey any of them are but it looks like our selection will likely fall in that range.

If we can't get Wiggins, Parker or Embiid, are any of the next 6 picks a significant upgrade?

This is a tough call for me. I'd need to see an honest medical appraisal on Embiid. He's potentially dominant as a center on both ends, whereas I still see Favors and Kanter as PFs. I'd resolve this question before looking at Exum, Randle or Gordon.

A. Gordon is likely an NBA 3. Won't struggle guarding it all. Extremely athletic. Great rebounder, and passer, but can't make free-throws.

If no Wiggins, I like Gordon with 5th pick or later.

If Gordon had a decent shot he would be fighting for the #1 pick right now.......I still think he can learn to shoot. I believe he will be the youngest player in the draft.

There is a chance that Embiid ends up like Oden. You don't take that risk with the #3 pick. I honestly believe that Randle is the second/third best player in this draft, I go BPA.

There's a chance every player can "end up like Oden".

Aaron Gordon reminds me of Blake Griffin. Griffin has been able to get his free throw shooting up and he developed a nice little jump shot.

Gordon can do the same.......but most the time he's just going to dunk on your face :)

Honestly there almost the same player. Griffin is a bigger and stronger version. Gordon is a better defender.

I laugh when people are disappointed with this draft. To me it's as good as advertised so long as the main guys come out.

Gordon can already hit the 3 occasionally. He's .349 this year and 5-8 the last 4 games from 3.

Jazz should try to lure Ray Allen here by overpaying him for 2 years to come and teach our players how to shoot.
