he averages 6 oreb per game in just 33 minutes.

but lol he averages 4 dreb per game which is ridiculous.

Defensive rebound issue is about letting Favors take'em. Enes and Derrick crushed on air all the time in the previous 2 years on many open defensive board situations. They are both great rebounders but obviously Favors has the leap to catch it at a high altitude. And Enes is being mature to let him take them. Divison of labor, u know? They are complementing pretty good each other on the court compared to the previous seasons. Love watching them on the floor together.

OK Ty, I know you're reading this. All you've done this season is all we've asked before. Now Try Favors-Gobert-Kanter at the same time.

He even has 99 offensive rebounding in NBA 2K14.

I have to disagree here. His defensive rebounding issues are due to his inability to box out. It's going to come, but I guarantee if you watch some game tape you will see that he puts a body on the other team way too late, does not seal well, and just does not have the vertical to bail him out of bad technique. It's all a learning process!

That's because the Jazz are only shooting 40% from the field. Lots of offensive rebounds to be had.

Most of his ORB are off of his own miss though.

Wut?? That's not true. That was true the first season, but his ORBS are not off his own misses this season. Have you been watching the games?

Kanter is making a major jump in the issue of after-surgery era's non-contact play. Only four games went down and he started to push around a gorilla-strength center, Lopez as much as his strength allowed. I've missed his physically dominant game. It will hopefully come back soon before this season ends.

Whatever the reason is, I like the division of labor they show on the court with Favors. I hated seeing them crash in the air, Favors bouncing out of bounds from crashing with Kanter in the air. I do want to see Kanter beast on rebounds to put up numbers like 30/20 which I think he definitely is capable of doing many times, but for Jazz's success right now, I think this situation is better. On the other hand, we have Dwight Howard-Ömer Aşık duo starting in Houston. They are amazingly dominant in rebounds most of the time. Why not become a duo like them? This is something they should look for. But I doubt Kanter would go for it rest of the game since he is always running on the fast breaks to score. A Malone effort which he also liked to put up before training with him.
