There are people close to Kanter who are skeptical that the Thunder will match, but general manager Sam Presti said in no uncertain terms Thursday that he plans to do so.
"We haven't received an offer sheet as of yet," Presti told The Oklahoman newspaper Thursday regarding the deal that was first reported by Yahoo Sports. "But our intention has been to match offers on Enes and nothing has changed in this regard.
LMAO this is just TOO MUCH.Cy's talking BB ,haters lose credibility when hate makes them sound dumb and can't talk BB
After all the nice things Kanter said about OKC after the trade, I wonder what he'll say if they don't match.
I was just thinking why would he want to sign with Portland anyway, aren't OKC the most professional team evah? After all the nice things Kanter said about OKC after the trade, I wonder what he'll say if they don't match.
I guess it's about $35 million for Kanter for next season. Yikes.OKC paying a ton of money in luxury tax for one season. There isn't much on their roster they can dump. I guess Collison and Novak. But they'll have to give up picks to do so. Or they just bite the bullet and take an additional $10M hit in taxes. Kanter is the gift that keeps on giving.
