Engelland--what's the deal?

Hey Gyp...

Wanna know how the fantasy basketball league turned out?

Nightmare won the first year. I won last year.

Your team and Gameface's team got dismantled and redrafted by two new participants. I then made a trade for Lebron which helped me win it all.

If you stuck around your team probably would have been pretty good. Other than Rose still hasn't made it back.

But UGLI baby has assembled by far the most insanely dominant team the fantasy basketball world has ever seen.

Kevin Durant
Kevin Love
Russel Westbrook
Paul George
Ricky Rubio

I have access to UGLI's forum and know most of this already. My team would have stunk tbh. The Rose/Favors picks killed me. In hindsight I should've done research and taken Anthony Davis and Rose (or someone with that huge upside) back to back...

but alas, I did not.

Thought this deserved a bump since the possibility of drafting Wiggins, Exum, Vonleh or Gordon is relatively high and any of these four would need a lot of work on their perimeter shooting, this guy's specialty. Any word in the last couple days on this guy?

"Warriors got Alvin Gentry away from Clips but word is they know they have little to no hope to lure shot doc Chip Engelland away from Spurs"
"Sense is that Engelland is just too big a part of the Spurs' culture -- and too close to Pop -- for anyone to lure him away at the minute"

In an interview yesterday Lindsey made it sound as if the staff was already hired. I hope Quinn does not surround himself with a bunch of cheap no nba talent. Have to say I am a bit concerned that we will not have heard of anyone on his staff other than our internal guys. Jazz are so ****ing cheap.

If this is the case, then both DL and Quin Snyder know what a coup it would be to land him. If you want talent, you have to pay the price. I'd make him my Associate Head Coach and pay him a ton more than he's making in San Antonio. Make it pretty much impossible to turn down their offer.

Yeah, the right offer might make Engelland swing (to the Jazz) like a pendulum do.

This. Our cap figure was low this past season anyway and could be again this coming season.
