Epstein is in Trouble

I don’t know how we dig ourselves out of this mess other than hope the “lost” crowd dies off or grows tired of politics (and finds church, bowling, or porn again) and younger/more open minded people decide that this type of politics isn’t desirable. Our country has real issues, universal health care, economic inequality, gun violence, and climate change to tackle and none of it will be addressed if 40 percent of the country and the worlds richest and most powerful just don’t give a ****. Actually, they do give a ****, which is why they’re investing so heavily in Trump, project 2025, and propaganda. It’s easier to blame the trans swimmer and brown construction worker on stuff than Elon and his buddies who just slashed your Medicaid for tax cuts
I am really afraid the initials of what is needed is CW. Don't want to type it out, kind of makes me sick to my stomach.

How many more days does this Epstein story have before being ignored by MAGA? I say three.
Too late, it is already being ignored. My wife posted some of the stuff on facebook that I sent her from this chat and she got a flurry of replies almost immediately saying in various ways "Doesn't matter, this is a nothingburger, you are a leftist lunatic shill". So, yeah, the cult has already moved on, or at least begun to move on.

Humans have an almost shocking ability to justify anything that maintains their current level of comfort or helps them avoid any kind of mental discomfort, even if their current level of comfort is objectively abhorrent.

I'm not sure where it was pointed out but Leavitt used to always prominently wear a cross necklace. Since they have refused to release the Epstein list she has conspicuously stopped wearing it.

I think this is making her feel dirty.
I’ve seen tweets pointing that out. Could be as you say.

I doubt it. I'm betting on the straw that finally broke the dishonest camel's back! Elon Musk owns the biggest bullhorn on the planet and this ain't over till Musk says it's over. (The $200 Million DOD contract for Grok is a slap in the face after the multi-billion dollar bath he took by first being the face of DOGE and second by losing the EV Tax Credit in the "BBB" that congress passed.) As deluded and misinformed as his base is, nobody likes to be the stooge! And as Robert De Niro knows all so well from playing so many Mafioso's, Trump should rightfully go by his first name as in the "The Don" because that's always been his MO. From his early days stiffing contractors, running scams like Trump University and his meddling ex-wife conveniently falling down a flight of stairs, Trump has always been a Kingpin. Trump is the Jimmy Conway (De Niro) character from "Good Fellas" that promises everyone a cut on the Lufthansa job until it's done and then has all but Tommy and Henry knocked off. MAGA is the antithesis of a populist movement yet that's the way that it was sold in his Town Halls. There's been a lot of blow back from Republicans regarding the impending cuts to medicaid and snap. That was the slap in the face, and now to come face to face with the reality of No Deep State, no Democratic Satanic Pedophile Ring - I mean what passive aggressive sadist wants to come to grips with their own ruthless betrayal?

Well, she is a red card carrying leftist Marxist communist Who probably still believes in vaccines and the moon landing and loves gay shariah abortion. Does she even know what AR stands for in AR15? Commie

And the Wall Street Journal weighs in with a birthday “letter” sent to Epstein by Trump in 2003. I can’t get the WSJ article as yet.

Sources tell Variety that the White House attempted to block the publication of a Wall Street Journal article about President Donald Trumpallegedly writing a letter to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 that contains suggestive language. The White House threatened legal action against the paper if it went to print with the story, which published on the paper’s website Thursday afternoon.

According to the Wall Street Journal story, the letter for Epstein’s birthday, which was part of an album from several people, “is bawdy — like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly ‘Donald’ below her waist, mimicking pubic hair. The letter concludes: ‘Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.'” (Epstein was a close friend and business associate of former Victoria’s Secret CEO Les Wexner and a fixture at the lingerie line’s fashion shows.)

I know in the past I’ve argued that Trump could literally be filmed raping and killing a child and wouldn’t lose hardly any support. I guess that’s being put to the test right now. My bet is that republicans will revert to their safe places; tribalism and racism/misogyny. “Whataboutclinton!” As if a single Democrat in America would defend bill clinton if he were in these files. Heck, it would probably do us a favor if Trump would release these files and Clinton were in them. Then we’d finally be rid of him once and for all. And, “well Trump may not be perfect but judgescriticalracetheorytransswimmers!”

At the end of the day, fascists love power. And not an insignificant amount of republicans like raping children. It’s why they’ve become leaders in the Catholic Church, evangelical religions, and Republican Party. It gives them easy access to children. Obviously, a majority of MAGA doesn’t like child rape. But plenty do, it’s why they turn a blind eye to the abuse happening in the party and pews.

Case closed! Epstein is a hoax!

A Democratic senator is continuing his investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's financial network as President Donald Trump calls on his supporters to move on.

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) and some of his staffers have seen confidential files related to the massive sums of money Epstein moved through the banking system to fund his sex trafficking network, and the senator said his probe has taken on new urgency after the Trump administration has refused to release information seized by the FBI – which has angered many of his MAGA followers, reported The New York Times

“We felt from the beginning this was a follow-the-money case,” Wyden told the newspaper. “This horrific sex-trafficking operation cost Epstein a lot of money, and he had to get that money from somewhere.”

High-dollar transfers to individuals, foreign countries or obscure companies are typically flagged by banks as potentially suspicious, and Wyden's staff have reviewed filings on thousands of wire transfers involving artwork sales, fees paid to Epstein by wealthy associates and payments to numerous women, and some of those transfers involved accounts at two Russian banks for as much as $100 million.

"Even before the Justice Department announced last week that it was closing the door on the Epstein investigation," the Times reported, "Mr. Wyden had been pressing Attorney General Pam Bondi to turn over bank reports along with other information about wealthy individuals and financial institutions in Mr. Epstein’s network."

Wyden has asked the Trump administration to give Congress access to confidential bank reports filed with the Treasury Department after Epstein's arrest in 2019, but the senator questioned why the suspicious activity reports weren't filed within 60 days of the banks noticing the transactions, as they're supposed to do.

“When banks are only filing these reports after crooks like Epstein are dead or behind bars, that does not do anyone any good,” Wyden said.

The senator's team, along with several Republican committee staffers, were allowed last year by Treasury officials to review thousands of pages of secret filings by four banks – JPMorgan, Deutsche Bank, Bank of New York Mellon and Bank of America – on Epstein's transactions, but they were not permitted to make copies.

“Sadly, all this noise around the purported ‘Epstein Files’ serves only to detract from holding the Justice Department accountable to victims for its failure in preventing this trafficking atrocity,” said Marijke Chartouni, who was sexually abused by Epstein when she was 20.
