Pretty sure we can't trade Evans. It wouldn't matter any way cuz the Suns ain't dat dum.
Maybe I should make a thread about our own delusions.

So according to reports Bledsoe can be had... and maybe for cheaper than I would have thought. I really like him as a fit for us because we have other guys like Hood and Hayward that can run the half court offense.
Let's say the cost is Burke, Burks and a draft asset or two... Are you in?
This would allow us to go sign a Wes Matthews, Danny Green, etc. because we'd have a starting spot open. We could sign them first and then have finalize the trade with PHX, so it wouldn't be that risky.
The downside is it would be a very public hedge against Exum not developing... wonder how he'd handle it.
I really like the idea of Bledsoe locking up the opposing pg and adding a shooter vet to this squad... think it would really accelerate the rebuild. Bled is also young so it's not like we are selling out our future.

Burke/Burks and maybe a draft asset would be a solid deal to me. And I'm not sure we'd have to go out to sign another wing either. I think we could roll with something like:
Bledsoe/one of Cotton/Hanlan
Exum/Millsap/Ingles
Hayward/Hood/Ingles
Favors/Booker/Lyles
Gobert/Pleiss
Obviously we could go out and try to sign a wing, but I'm not sure we'd need to. Hayward/Hood/Exum could be a solid 3-man rotation with Millsap/Ingles filling it out depending on need (Millsap was actually really good statistically last season.
I'd rather bring Dante off the bench and sign someone... even if it was someone in the Dunleavy, Belinelli bargain bin or trading some cap space and something else for Kevin Martin. I'd start Hood in that scenario.
part of the appeal to me is to make better use of our cap space this year.
But c'mon, wouldn't it be fun winning games without scoring 80 points? But nah, signing a guy would be nice too, I think I was just trying to say I don't think we'd need to have a guy lined up before pulling the trigger on a deal like this because I think we'd be fine either way.
A lineup up of Bledsoe/Exum/Hayward/Favors/Gobert would be terrifying defensively.
This. Players are people too. This doesn't help in making Favors feel welcome and appreciated. And I think that's the exact reason why LMA is leaving Portland. If the goal is to alienate a player and make him want him to leave, then spreading rumors is a great way to do it.See what Jody Gennesy has done?
He's made Favors out to be trade fodder to fan bases around the NBA.
