If the Pelicans would do Richard Jefferson for Eric Gordon straight up (or with a small sweetener like a 2nd round pick or the GSW 1st rounder), would you do it?

Gordon has a huge deal that he is not quite living up to, but a starting unit of Burke, Gordon, Hayward, Favors, and Kanter/Marvin Williams would not be bad, along with Burks off the bench. Gordon would also provide an insurance policy in case Hayward does leave in free agency. By the time, Utah would have to do big money extensions with Kanter, Burke, and Burks, Gordon's deal would be expired.

I think the Jazz have already explored that option and declined.

I don't have a link nor did I talk to someone at the Best Buy More. But sometime last year when everyone was ticked that the Jazz had not made a move at the deadline, Rigby was on the radio and said something like "the jazz explored options and considered adding a dynamic scorer who was returning from injury, but decided it was not worth investing in a young gaurd who had missed 60 percent of his games and had a large contract"

I immediately thought of Eric Gordon, who has torched the Jazz in the past but had missed most of 2012 season and almost half of 2013, in fact he has only played in 247 of 410 possible games or 60% ( I had to look that up).

The Pellies are absolutley shopping the guy, Tyreke makes him expendable. But I don't know if they will find any takers. They should call Brooklyn.

Yea, well he was the exception until Mark Jackson opened his hole and spewed his blather all over the world. But watching Fisher fake a charge against the Jazz the other night made me want to put Durek back on my list. Both of those guys could go away and I wouldn't miss them.

Eric Gordon is currently under a 4 year/$58M contract thru 2016. You might as well kiss Gordon Hayward goodbye if you want EG on the team because we can't pay two guards that kind of money especially if neither one is a #1 player on the team.

Why you make dumb thread?

I was waiting for the part where you said something like they'd be sending us their pick this year or something for this salary dump but never saw it.

God i hate this thread. ^ is right, obviously! Never, ever, expect anyone on this forum to agree with you again. But agree i must. The only people laughing harder than Pelicans is (most) Jazz fans. Don't want no Eric Gordon, even for free.
