ESPN Coach, Owner and FO Rankings

I think these rankings are a pretty fair assessment of where the Utah Jazz are right now. There was a time when I would have argued that the Utah Jazz ownership was in the top five easily and maybe top two or three. But a lot went south after the passing of Larry.

Dennis Lindsey really has an opportunity to prove himself over the next few years. If this whole rebuild thing works out, I can see him climbing into the top 10 executives.

Tyrone Corbin is right about where he should be. I am sure there are a few worse coaches then him in the league, but not many. His days are numbered.

Ty knows it. He knows what's gonna happen too.

In that randy Rigby interview randy reported that Ty was rushing to have sit down a meeting with each of the players before the season was over so he could tell them what he thought they should work on before he can't talk to them anymore.

I really wish Ty would have worked out. He is such an incredible person. Just not ready to be a head coach, unfortunately.

Let's face it - these rankings are stupid. They do from the crack team of polesmokers at ESPN.

Since it looks highly unlikely that the Jazz are going to land either Parker or Wiggins, I truly think that Dennis Lindsey's legacy in Utah is going to be tied to who he hires as the next head coach. He's not afraid to be aggressive to get what he wants and (despite what some fans think) there's some really good, young talent already on this team. Add a couple of decent draft picks to the bench and there's a good start for a coach to build with. I hope they spare no expense and just get the guy they want.
