ESPN Experts Predict...

I'm so sick of the media swinging from OKC's *******. Don't get me wrong, I think Durrant is the TRUTH and I expect them to give everybody fits, but over the course of a long, drawn-out, 82 game season I'll take Utah. If we look back on last year, OKC did manage a 8 seed and they did take the Lakers to 7 games, but they present some decent match-up problems for LA. Keeping that up over an entire season is a totally different beast and is something this very young team has yet to do.

Yeah, its a little crazy that all of them are all of a sudden picking OKC #2. Durant might get a little better, but he is already pretty darn good. I will certainly take a healthy Jazz over OKC.

The freaking Thunder are the most overrated team in recent memory.

Add me to the list of those who overrate them. Most talented young team in the league and if I were picking one person to build around it would be KD. I think they win the NW this year.

Are these the same "experts" that predicted the Jazz to log the worst season in NBA history in 2003? You know, the season that they went 42-40 and missed the playoffs by one game?
Gotta love the "experts".

Im pretty sure every person in America thought that we were going to suck that year. Expect me of course..... and you.

I think OKC is in the 4 - 8 seed range, behind Lakers, us, Dallas and flip-flopping with Portland. This assumes Denver falls apart. KD is a star, but he's basically a perimeter player.

Where is their inside scoring and defense?

The "experts" know what they are talking about even less than we know what we are talking about (jazz related of course).
I would definitely trust them when the talk about the Lakers, and Miami though. They have most of their people in those 2 places, oh, and they are also on the Ref training staff. What?... No .... I said nothing about a conspiracy, or a land war in Asia.

a land war in asia? where is this? balushistan? havent seen anything there to insinuate that?

those experts dont know ****. are these the same experts that said in 2004 that the US olympic team is better than argentina?

1 - Lakers
2 - Jazz
3 - Mavs
4 - Spurs
5 - Blazers
6 - OKC
7 - Suns
8 - Nuggets (Melo gets traded in December to Knicks)

Mavs (Still will be good because they are always a good regular season team.

Spurs will be healthier this year. Another year for Richard Jefferson figuring out the offense. Giniboli and Parker will be healthier than last year. Splitter will help and Blair will be improved. Possibly could move in front of Mavs or Jazz

Blazers are better because they are healthier but still can't contend because Roy and Miller don't coexist very well. Games are too similar

Thunder are overrated: I will give a long detailed explanation if needed (I have multiple times before)

Suns: They will still make the playoffs because they will still be one of the best scoring teams. But when they play the playoff teams they will lose.

Nuggets: Melo won't go to the Nets. He will only accept a trade to the Knicks. Nuggets know this so they make the trade so they can get something in return. Trade won't happen until December once Anthony Randolph can be traded again.

Rockets: Too many players who shoot a horrible percentage and jack up dumb shots and Yao won't be effective enough to make a big difference.

Grizzlies: They are the wild card but I still don't think they are good enough defensively and not enough players willing to pass.
