Do they not realize that getting a larger piece of the pie won't matter if the season is lost? Do they really expect the owners to cave? Each passing day gives the owners more power. The deals are only going to get worse and worse.

They should agree to whatever the owners are offering now and just settle for their own share of the pie. As long as the NBA maintains and increases popularity, they're still going to be paid very well.

But if the season's lost? bye bye pie.
