Eurobasket 2011: Turkey - lithuania match is starting now. :) Live match link here :)

So, I dont care if he scored every point the entire game. If you miss a FT to tie the game in THE LAST MINUTE, its a choke. If you dribble the ball off your foot in the most important play of the game, its a choke.

which player are you talking about

which player are you talking about

Predzic. He was the guy who drew the intentional foul, netting 2 FT's and the ball back. He made 1 of 2 FT, cutting the lead to 1. Then he missed a layup. Then on the next play he dribbled the ball of his foot for a back court violation.

everyone makes a mistake, he didnt make a mental mistake, he just missed it, ure too blind to see he is taking so much responsbility at his young age and first national team journey

Hey Sepano, don't take it personally. This is a good opportunity for him to get this clutch experience. He did mess up today, but take a look at a young Kobe Bryant air-balling three's against the Jazz in the Play-Offs. He is one of the clutchest players of the last thirty years. It's a process. He'll get it next time, and use this experience. That's what young players do.

WTF,,whats the point of shooting 3's,when u are leading with 2 points and only 2 minutes to end of the game? now we have to win over spain, otherwise we go to second round with 2 points, and i hope spain will beat lithuania

Yeah, everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes are made when you mess something up, do something improperly. WHen you make a mistake in a crucial moment, that mistake is called a choke. Missing an easy FT (since all FT's are literally the same every time, since the beginning of time) in the final minute, is a choke.

deron missed two very important in houston series in final min, in the third game i think, thanks god then memo rebounded. Then i guess deron is a choke too

exactly, thats what i mean, making a mistake doesnt mean ure a bad player, the important thing is, the mistake shouldnt be a fundamental mistake. It is also funny that this guy isnt turkish and its his first tourney with national team , and he is getting so much clutch shots. Preldzic previously played in slovenian youth teams , turkish federation tried too hard to get him into this tournament.

I was angry that this game wasn't on ESPN3 yet-- wanted to watch it before looking at the box.

Decided to just look at the box, and I'm happy that I didn't watch. So much for the clash between 3 and 5. What a let down!

Dude Predzic must be related to you or something. I just said he choked. I didn't say he was a choke, or had a history of choking. Get off the guys jock.

Turkeys box score.

2 point FG : 23/39 or 59%

3 point FG: 3/18 or 17%

Jerry Sloan would be irate.

Preldzic is a hell of a player, and it's a great testament to his competitiveness that he wanted the ball in his hands at the end of a close game and was willing to do all he could to make something happen. He messed up to end the game, but kudos for having the balls.

Can someone tell me what happened to Kanter's production in the second half? I missed it (although I didn't miss much I guess). It appears he hardly got any minutes and possibly even fewer possessions. Somehow.
