I am not saying that Kanter is better than Noah right now and I know that their roles are slightly different for their teams but Kanters performance should be commended.

well noah played against a better team, but i think he isnt any better than kanter, He is all about hustle i dont see much raw talent in him.

I should clarify what I was trying to say a little more. Noah is a hustle player in the NBA. He is known for his defense and his ability to get rebounds etc. In todays games both players had the same amount of rebounds. Rebounds and defense to me are all about hustle. Kanter had the same amount of rebounds as Noah but he did it in about 7 minutes less playing time. Latvia is better than Portugal I'm sure but it is still impressive when you think about the lay off from actual games that Kanter has been through.

To me again Kanter showed that he was the best big man on the turkish team. He will only get better. Noah might refine his game a little more but he will always be a hustle player that is limited offensively.

Kanter isn't going to impact the game like Noah does on defense. It isn't happening.

But that doesn't mean he can't be practically equal to or greater than, but this is an apples and oranges debate.

thats what i ment, noah isnt better than kanter imo, kanter is much more talented, but less experienced and kinda rusty right now. He will be incomparably better than noah in short time. I think noah will have trouble with finding as much time as before once Omer Asik improves his offense a little bit.

I mostly want to see Kanter become a better passer, specifically out of the double team. If he can do that, and improve his athleticism/hops a little over the first couple years of his career, wow, the kid could be a beast.

I agree Kanter needs to improve his hops, but I also believe that he doesn't attack the rim like he should. Today he did that a bit better. Also, there was a play where he went for an offensive rebound/put back jam with two hands. He tipped the ball, but it would have been thunderous. His attacking the rim impressed me more today than any other game so far. Also, he rarely dunks with one hand. This may be a fundamentals thing, i.e., you go in with two-hands, but he did a few one-handed jams in the combine footage and he would probably shoot a higher percentage if he would attack the rim with either one or two hands rather than close lay-ups. I hope we see more of this.

right, but i would prefer to have Kanter on my team rather than Noah. Noah may be a good team player, but Noah-Boozer sucks, Noah-Brook lopez would be a good pair for me. Dont know why but Noah seems too light to be a center for me, dont know how he is handling those bigger guys

He's smart, tough as nails, and fights on every possession. That doesn't always mean much, but when you have Noah's size and speed, it means everything. And all of Chicago's greatest strengths and weaknesses come back to Rose. You can't blame Noah for what Boozer does or doesn't do, either.
