Eurobasket 2025

just to be clear, muurinen had 5 pts, 2 rebs, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 1 turnover in the game.

I didn't watch and don't doubt he gave them a bit of a spark at some point, but after reading your comments i might have guessed a line of something like 10, 5, and 5 with a couple blocks and a steal or two.
It was just a 4 minute stretch or so, but it was a cocaine fueled ride especially on defense. He was a complete non factor the rest of the game

It was against cypress, but Nurkic looks fine physically in the highlights. Perhaps his coach was having a bit of a laugh when he made the “he’s too fat” comments. Maybe he will be going for another contract. I think he’s going to play minutes for us.

He unironically has become an underrated player. Not great for the tank, but we know Hardy likes a playmaking big. Nurkic is a system fit.

Great win for France. No superstars there but solid roster. They are real dogs in defense. Slovenia is not good, they will need Luka to go for 50 pts each single game to have a chance.

His stats per 36 min in his 27 games with Charlotte last year were: 18.2 pts, 12.9 R, 5.2 Ast, 1.3 St, 1.4 Bl. His shooting efficiency was not good, but apparently Charlotte found a way to get his overall statistics much closer to his very solid production in Portland. I don't care if they trade him or cut him-- but he seems to be very capable of being a solid backup center...

I know basketball is just not popular there, but Great Britain/UK being so consistently *** is a bit surprising right? Their best finish ever in a Eurobasket is 13th. There are plenty of NBA caliber players with British ties.

Nice practice drill, but tomorrow will be an actual test with Montenegro. Lauri will face off with Vucevic, who was brought to Bulls to replace Lauri. Be prepared. Lauri might want to slam a poster on his face again.
