Where does it say how many games each team is projected to win?

I just see lots of numbers and some colors that mean nothing to me

It's compiled by taking into account data from the last 10 seasons. I don't know the exact regression model used.

Based on what I am seeing, I am expecting a very angry forum here at Jazzfanz. I expect a record between 43 and 50 wins and battling for the playoffs. I expect to fall just short. I expect to see continued growth and to be excited about the team, the defense, and direction but the west is still too good, particularly without Exum.

I will be disappointed if we fail to make the playoffs, if Trey Burke does not make significant improvement and our defense levels off to just above average.

I will be elated if the Jazz win a playoff series.

If the Jazz are a good NBA team then they don't need to be afraid of how good the west is. There is no waiting around for every other team in the NBA to not be so good so that the Jazz can win a championship. If a team wants to compete for a title they have to be ready to beat really good teams. That's how it works.

I'm sick of people talking about how good the west is as if that's a valid excuse for the Jazz not making the playoffs. If the Jazz can't get even the 8th seed then we've got no one to blame other than the Jazz.

There is no waiting around for every other team in the NBA to not be so good so that the Jazz can win a championship. I think you have to also consider that the jazz are still very young with core players just getting to their primes and a couple core players not there yet, and have a 2nd year head coach.

Spurs have popovich, duncan, parker, ginobli, aldridge

I was planning on it since everyone has been saying how good the team is. But I didn't realize what they meant was that the Jazz are good at basketball, they just aren't as good at it as most of the other NBA teams are.

So I guess maybe not. Maybe I'll wait three years or however long it will be until Hayward and Favors have moved on and we're back at square one again.

Compare the age of the jazz core players, or their starters, or their whole team against the western conference playoff teams.

It is simply a fact that they are young. It is not my opinion or something.

Look at the rebuilds of teams like philly, minnesota, boston, detroit, etc.

Our rebuild is kicking their rebuilds ***..... And make no mistake, we are still rebuilding even if we are near the end of it.

Three years ago we had millsap, jefferson, earl watson, randy foye, etc. We were the definition of a treadmill team.

The fact that we are even talking about the playoffs and being contenders after casting off our best veterans, having a tank year, and getting a new gm and coach is very impressive.

I guarantee the rest of the league is taking note and wanting to emulate our rebuild.
