With minimums. RHJ signed a camp deal with Minnesota last year before being cut after an impressive preseason.

But we’re already over the cap. I’ll be honest, with Dok going crazy in Summer League (16 for 16 last two games) this Whiteside signing has got me worried. I mean as sexy as it is on paper, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, particularly for a coach as buttoned up as Snyder. RHJ or smokes would’ve made so much more sense IMO.

There’s a funny stipulation on veterans minimums that I believe are subsidized by the league. Not even sure if they count against LT.

I think they still count, but that you can sign as many as needed as long as they're minimums. Could be wrong on if they count towards LT but I do know you can sign them.

They count but only about half of the salary does and the league pays half of the salary to the player too.

There actually isn’t any available real estate on Exum Island. They’re all time shares you get swindled into, you end up not going, and you’re on the hook for paying these massive maintenance fees. It sounded so good in theory when you went to the presentation and signed up. Less good in reality.

But I’m not talking about buying a time share. I’m talking about offering someone a marginal amount to take their week — no strings attached — and go appreciate what the island has to offer without any commitment or pressure.
