Faster than I predicted

You have a hard time with hypotheticals don't you?

US states occasionally pass laws that get smacked down. Under your hypothetical that some state would pass a law that religious buildings would be required to host gay marriages, that is what would happen.

In other words yes you do have a hard time with hypotheticals. Because that was not the issue discussed in the hypothetical. That was the caveat that makes it a hypothetical situation.

As reported by the Washington Times, “Coeur d‘Alene, Idaho, city officials have laid down the law to Christian pastors within their community, telling them bluntly via an ordinance that if they refuse to marry homosexuals, they will face jail time and fines.

Question.

Do these churches get the advantage of being tax exempt? And if so, how do you reconcile your position with that fact?

Re: Logs question

Because people are proud and/or stupid. When was the last time anyone said, "Boy, that highly obnoxious gay pride parade sure has softened my heart on the subject. I think it was the dudes in black leather speedos that sealed the deal."

Fighting for peace.
****ing for celibacy.
Angering for acceptance.

Eventually, people start to get it.

It's funny how you repeat this is the reason, even though you don't apply it to any other marriages. You do understand this is self-deception, right?

The second that your posts start getting deleted, come talk to me about how you can't have an opinion. Just because you're wrong and everyone hates you for it doesn't mean that anyone is stifling your rights to proclaim just how stupid you are. Your very existence on this message board essentially nullifies your last thought/sentence.

I see that you're still a faux victim of the worst kind. You still have an opinion, you still have the ability to state said opinion, as I just read it, and that opinion has been recorded in the board's register for reference at a later date. Please, continue telling me how things have changed since Mr. Obama took office. Please.
