Thought this was a great article posted by Jody Genessy of the DNews. Before UGLI goes off again, the DNews admitted there's a bug in their feed which is why the Utah Jazz Newsfeed hasn't picked it up yet.

Anyway, I enjoyed this one as it gave a great insight to our future:

“If I don’t get nothing else out of my career, I want to win a championship,” Favors said. “I’ve got goals of being an All-Star. At the end of my career, I want to give that speech — that Hall of Fame speech. That’s one of my biggest goals. But if I don’t get any of those, I at least want to win a championship.”

I was disappointed to hear that Watson and Marvin are the players closest to him. I was hoping for some of the other youth. Maybe Burks, Evans...
 
This was a great article. Interesting that Favors didn't like Utah, doesn't have a great relationship with Corbin and was super pissed about his playing time. Funny that he didn't hang out with any of the teammates or really even talk to them. Hayward's quotes on Favors were gold.
 
At the end he says:

Utah doesn’t have good Southern cooking like he’ll find at his favorite Atlanta restaurant, Mary Mac’s Tea Room. He’s also aware the NBA is a business, so who really knows where his career will take him.

But, for now, the new homeowner can envision Utah being his unlikely home-away-from-home for years to come.

“I hope so,” he said. “I don’t want to move again.”

Talk about putting words in a guy's mouth.

Favors was shy at first and just wanted to go home, probably upset about being traded. I don't think he said he disliked Utah because of the area or team, or anything like that.

He said he is building his relationship with Corbin.

Also said he understood playing time issue, but naturally wanted more.

“I think it’s always helped guys to have to earn whatever they get,” Corbin said. “They don’t like it, but the ones who use it right as motivation and continue to work, I think it can be a great thing for them going down the road.”

I know Lucas is starting over Burke...I've said it before, and this quote just makes me believe it more.
 
I hate Utah and expect most NBA players to hate Utah.

Don't take it so personally, this state sucks.
