If he did this to Jerry Sloan he gets sent to locker room immediatelyPlayers and coaches have arguments all the time during games..
Do people not really understand that by now? With the 2nd worst record we have a better shot at the 6th pick than any other pick. You cannot tank yourself into certainty. All lottery teams have a chance at the #1 pick.
Ya that was one of Sloans flaws. He would have overreacted. If he did this to Jerry Sloan he gets sent to locker room immediately
Got subbed out at the 7 minute mark of the 4th quarter. Collier too. I think it was probably just time for both to be subbed out and the win was never in question, so they just stayed out. JC played as many minutes as anybody.I wonder if JC got traded during the game. Was having a great game and didn't come back in
You don't even understand it...Do people not really understand that by now? With the 2nd worst record we have a better shot at the 6th pick than any other pick. You cannot tank yourself into certainty.
I agree I like when a coach pulls the player, talks to him about what he did wrong, what he needs to do right.Ya that was one of Sloans flaws. He would have overreacted.
With the 2nd worst record you cannot get the 5th pick, you can get top-4 or 6th.You don't even understand it...
The highest single pick odds would be for 5th with the 2nd worst record.
That doesn't make sense. What if the 1st seed wins the lottery, then you are jumped by three other teams? With the 2nd worst record you cannot get the 5th pick, you can get top-4 or 6th.
The two (range of) outcomes with the 2nd-worst record is either top 4 (14%+14%+14%+10%) at 52% or 6th at 48%.
What? With the 2nd worst record you cannot get the 5th pick, you can get top-4 or 6th.

I agree I like when a coach pulls the player, talks to him about what he did wrong, what he needs to do right.
Then tells him to get himself mentally ready because he's going back in soon.

With the 2nd worst record you can get any of the top 6 picks. You can not get any picks later than 6th. So you can definitely get the 5th pick. The 5th pick is actually the pick with the highest odds according to the tankathon chart. With the 2nd worst record you cannot get the 5th pick
Yeah, others have chimed in. I don’t quite get it but whatever. With the 2nd worst record you can get any of the top 6 picks. You can not get any picks later than 6th. So you can definitely get the 5th pick. The 5th pick is actually the pick with the highest odds according to the tankathon chart.
I still have no idea why Orlando wants to continue wasting time not surrounding their very good core with more shooting/scoring, but w/e.
You have to give and take at some point. If your offense is 29th in the NBA, you have a problem and need some scoring/shooting, regardless of the minor hit your defense *may* take. Even you cant be that stupid to argue otherwise. It doesnt *have* to be Sexton, but they should be going after someone. Not sure about that, but I presume they don't want to surround their very good core with nonexistent defense and out-of-control play.
Yup, when you're the worst team in the NBA, that #1-2 pick is all but guaranteed.I think you know what he meant
You didn't know what he meant either.Yup, when you're the worst team in the NBA, that #1-2 pick is all but guaranteed.
