FG/3P% contract incentives for Hayward?

Things like this happen in football all the time. I'd do it.

I don't think you want to put incentives that will incentives players to hesitate to take shots. Bad idea. He just needs to shoot with confidence. not with thinking about %.

This. I would only put team incentives in... like if we win a playoff series or win 50 games. Money will change the way people play... you just want them to go out and play.

Well, it should be obvious that you would have to be very careful with the way you write in the incentives.

If it makes him hesitate so he take less horrible outside shots. Then awesome. He is a chucker right now.
Anything to make him stop chucking. Hopefully Snyder makes this team play team ball. And not allow Hayward to play Kobe ball.

Go back and read. I already said my peace. Last year is the only year he struggled.

He absolutely did. Do you think he does better this year? If so, at what point in the season do you think it'll be evident?

It might only be these options. Might not be possible to add anything different. I do know that certain players in the past have had contract incentives for their weight.

No this exception is just for people coming of their rookie contract, I.E Derrick Rose, Russ Westbrook..

If you want to do this with Gordon you'd have to sign him year for year which he never would accept considering Phoenix is probably ready to offer him more than 50/5.

In reality it does go down. Its the same either way.

He knows from the start what he gets guaranteed. And what he can possibly get.

He also has been very inconsistent his whole career going back to Butler. It literally is like an every other year with his shot.

3 point shot
08-09 - 44% (Butler)
09-10 - 29% (Butler)
10-11- 47%
11-12 - 34.6%
12-13 - 41%
13-14 - 30%

He has the ability. His release is fine. Its mental with maybe his balance or something. But it has become ridiculous. Wide open 3 point shots has nothing to do with how he was used.

I think the problem was last year he was depended on taking care of a dysfunctional offensive system while being the focal point of the opponents.

If Derrick, Enes and Dante could provide more firepower on the offensive side he would get more room and would also have someone else carrying the rock leading to him not having to being both the scorer and distributor.

It'd be interesting if someone could bring up his percentages with Trey and w/o him.

You left out the best scorer on the team doe
