What's new

Finally took the plunge and produced a CD

How negotiable is that? I would consider buying multiple copies if I were given a rep of 150 for a day coupled with unlimited ability to use it.

Tempting... tempting...

...but from the sounds of what you might have planned I think Jason might fire me as an admin and you as a mod if we do that.

Bump.

The album is now available online, from loudr and iTunes

(We prefer loudr, because iTunes takes a larger cut.)

Only one review on iTunes so far, but it's a good one!

A Cappella at its best! 5 stars

by CrimsonKnight212
This is a wonderful album that a friend recommended to me! It has everything you could ever want from an a cappella album, from upbeat songs with interesting and inventive arrangements to heartwarming (or wrenching) ballads with some of the most beautiful harmonies I’ve ever heard. The soloists are all amazing! What’s more, each group has their own unique sound! I’ve yet to find individual albums for each of the groups, but if I do, I will most certainly be purchasing them! I had no idea so much talent could come from one university!

(And no, I didn't write that myself. :-) )

If I buy a copy, instead of rep, could you help produce my polka/rap album I'm working on? I'm creating a new genre, and now is the time to get in on the ground floor.

You got it. Polka rap is ready to stun the nation.

Are you on cougarboard? You should post it over there. You'd get some haters, but there's probably a lot of people there who'd be interested.

Good job! It's wonderful.

(I love how you're still calling it an "album" - - makes me feel that I'm not quite such an old fogey)

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm never posted there, but it's a good idea so maybe I'll create an account.

Thanks! And in all seriousness I think album is the accepted term by everyone these days. Can't call it a CD if people are downloading it, and it's clearly not a tape, LP, record, or eight track. :-) But album is generic enough that it still fits.
