Finally took the plunge and published my book

If I were to translate it back from that German into English again, you'd see a few minor differences, but that's to be expected. Overall, it's nearly an exact sentence-by-sentence translation.

What I can't really answer, because I'm out of practice and not a native speaker, is just how well the German itself flows. Maybe someone else can speak to that.
