when we play portland, houston, memphis, atlanta, toronto, detroit, orlando, washington, charlotte, san antonio, indiana etc we will almost certainly look much better than when we play the nuggets, kings, suns, and clippers.

This.

We started the season off against some of the best teams in the nba and played more games than most teams (little rest/practice) and were integrating a rookie into an unfinished and ever changing rotation and also trying to figure out what to do with collins, KO, and kessler.

Now we play some worse teams and chemistry and coaching are starting to come together. I have maintained that i think the jazz are a playoff team (though barely) all along and nothing has changed.

so my 2-8 prediction is still holding?
I think I like your chances Amigo!

Mr. Hopeless Optimist here thinking we might replicate our start of last season. At least I was smart enough not to bet the over on the Season Win Total again this season.:p

We could still go 4-6 as I thought but it will be more likely 3-7. Which theoretically wouldn't be the end of the world but I didn't expect us to lose in such a bad way. Last year was so much fun with close games.. Even when we were losing it didn't really hurt.

I think it’s more likely 2-8 than 4-6 though. Indy is the second best offense… we are the second worst defense. That feels like a problem.

At Memphis is gonna be tough too… we have won exactly zero road games.

It’s not the end of the world but the teams we have on the schedule right after that may end up creating an uphill battle that we decide not to fight.

Indy just dropped 152 on the Spurs.
