His release was back in Nov/early Dec. Without any details being offered, I don't know what happened in the last couple of months. To say he was asking to be released that early, solely on the chance that Thunder would sign him over two months later, is a big stretch. He could have easily found himself unemployed.

True. My point is that it doesn't necessarily make sense that Fisher wanted to be released since it was hard being away from his family, only to leave his family a couple months later. Does he not want to be with his family now?

Of course she was actually being treated by a doctor in New York at the time he requested the release. And we know that the Knicks offered him a contract. Went to LA.

I don't get why a bigger deal isn't made about that. Fisher knew that Hunter was taking money from the union, but he didn't make it public until Hunter did something to him. It's been a while, so I forget the details, but **** that guy.
