Following 2016 potential draftees

Murray is more athletic than you think. Definitely finishes around the rim better than McCollum. Has the same standing reach and max vertical as Lillard coming out of college. Remember Lillard was mostly a jump shooter in school. He worked a lot on his body and became more of a dunker in the pros. Lillard was also considered a shoot-first guard with mediocre defense. It wasn't clear he'd be a starting PG. I think there are some comparisons there in terms of impact and ceiling. Murray needs to get stronger, like all freshmen, but he'd be a great offensive player with the Jazz and could play either guard position.

Yeah, kinda moot, since we're not likely getting him.

1) Did you watch Lillard in college? He was not just a jump shooter. Not at all.

2) He's still a shoot first PG with mediocre defense.

3) Msybe others weren't, but I was very high on Lillard coming out. Thought he was gonna be a star. So much of his game translated to the pros.

4) Murray ain't no Lillard.

Think he was referring to Lillard's Freshman year.

I'm not seeing what most of you are seeing in Murray. I think he's a great college player, but I feel like he lacks the quickness and shiftiness to be a playmaker in the NBA. His best role would probably be something like JJ Reddick - running around screens and handoffs and spotting up for jumpers. He might be a good secondary/tertiary option, but I don't see him as a can't miss prospect, especially when you consider his D would probably be a negative in the league. I think he can easily bust if he can't change and adjust his game to the pros.

These refs are sucking Duke's dick.

i would say UNCW is getting the calls actually. This game is why I should stop doing brackets. Almost rooting against my Alma Mater just because I have Duke in my brackets.

Really cant wait for Kentucky vs Stoney Brook . Kentucky will and should win but want to see Warner going up against a big front line like UK. .He is an intriguing prospect in round 2.

Agree.. I don't see all the love for Murray. Could become a solid starter like JJ but I don't see superstar or even star honestly. His quickness is the thing I question the most and lets be honest here he is a couple twinkies away from being fat. He has one of those bodies that when he retires he will be a fatty.

Wade Baldwin is underrated. His length is ****ing insane, he's a pretty good athlete, he can shoot the 3 ball, and gets to the FT line.

I was disappointed in Vandy this year. They have 3 legit nba players on that squad.. Baldwin be a nice pickup for someone in mid to late first round.

good adjustments by coach K to muck the game up and slow it down.

That little dude taking down Jeter was hilarious.

There will be some solid players in our range, even if we make the playoffs. I like a bunch of the names being thrown around 12-16. I think Ellenson is going to be a bust though.

But not Prince, he belongs on dysfunctional Franchise. Pair him with Howard and Harden in Houston.

I think it's because they have a bunch of role players. I like Baldwin, but he's not a leading guy, so Vandy struggled. He'll be better in the pro's.

So for the second round?

Paul Zipser, projects to be a 3nD player. I don't know if he can handle NBA speed but he had some nice block both at the rim and perimeter. His shot looks slow, too but he could fit with Jazz if he adapts.

Deandre Bembry is an interesting prospect too. He clearly won't be able to create his offense in NBA as easily but his passing and playmaking can help him. Seriously needs to improve his shooting, though.

Skal having a nice game, talented shot blocker despite not having a freakish wingspan. Could really boost his stock with a good tournament run.

I've been loving Denzel Valentine as for the Jazz pick for many reasons. The biggest reason is this... Some of the best players in the league have one thing in common. They're half black and half white.

Stephen Curry
Blake Griffin
Klay Thompson
Rudy Gobert
Joakim Noah

I want Luwawu. He can drive, defend, and is shooting 40% from 3 this year (and his form looks good, so I don't think it's a fluke). He's a pretty good athlete. We could use an athletic wing as insurance for when Burks has his mid season injury every year; I don't want to see this much Ingles and CJ each season.

Furkan would be good, too, but I like the upside of Luwawu more.

Oh, and Luwawu reportedly has a 7'2 wingspan, according to DX.

I think he's being vastly overlooked; Chad Ford has him at #18; I'd consider him in the top 5.
