Following 2016 potential draftees

I'm going to have to look into this skal fellow.

Any highlight videos you want to post?

Hook shot with BOTH hands.
Turn around jumper!
Silky smooth standstill jumper. Would be great target for pick and pop. I think he's one of the most skilled bigs in this draft.
Athleticism, size, length. Smoothness and quickness of movement for his size.
Good timing on contests and rim protection.

Needs to add strength and toughness... a lot of it. Need to improve bball IQ, but keep in mind he hasn't been playing basketball for a long time. I think he can improve that.

Except that Richardson is a much better shooter and probably a better ball handler than DeRozan, and he's only 20. DeRozan relies on athleticism, a big first step and extension to the rim. Richardson is crafty and versatile in creating his shot.

All fair points (especially the shooting). I just don't like the idea of someone who's "game is built heavily around taking and making contested shots" and "can be quite a ball-stopper at times" not to mention "overdribbling and freezing out his teammates frequently" and the worst yet "not really reacting to the defense, and deciding what shot he wants to take before he starts his move". Does that sound like someone you'd want to add to a team that talks a lot about chemistry?

His shooting is streaky but better than DDR. I just hope he is not nicknamed "Black Hole" Richardson.

Couple of issues I have.
1. He played for Kentucky yet I have not seen pkm pimping him. Not a good sign.

2. Reminds me of henson that played(s) for the bucks. Yuck

3. Chriss looked faster, quicker and more athletic. (Though I doubt there are many with more hops than chriss so can't hold that against skal too much)

I do think he looks better in the post than chriss and seems to play bigger than chriss. Skal is pretty skinny too but I assume he is like 19 or something right?

4. I know next to nothing about any of these guys so my opinion in this thread should definitely not hold any importance and should usually be over-looked.

I know, PKM got disappointed with him and he's not a big fan. I still think he's got great future in the league if he gets to a team willing to be patient with him and develop him. Keep in mind Chriss is a PF and I think Skal would be best as a C in the league. Skal is 2 inches taller and 2 inches longer. I just love the potential. If he figures it out and gets stronger I feel like he can be as good as any other player in this draft(that includes Simmons and Ingram). BTW Chriss is a freaky and explosive athlete, in a way it's not fair to compare Skal to him. They have different body types. Keep in mind that for his size Skal is very athletic too. He has 35 inches vertical, which for a 7 footer is pretty damn impressive.

You think he is better than Ellenson? Ellenson had a much better year than him and nearly a year younger than Skal. I dont get the draft sites that have Skal before Ellenson.

Right now, no. In the future, yes. I think he has better chance to boom than Ellenson. And if we are fair, he has a better chance to bust too, but again - if it was me, I'm taking Skal and trusting my coaching and player development staff.

Here's another video with even better display of some of his skills in the post, shows a spin move and great touch around the rim:
