Following 2016 potential draftees

Yep. Locke's riding me and you's jocks. We called Zizic three weeks ago.
Iirc, you called it first and I jumped on. I'm convinced he's the surest thing in the draft outside of the very top of the lottery (maybe outside the top 2) in terms of being a surefire rotation guy. His upside might not be as high as some others, but at the very least, he'll come in and rebound like crazy and get garbage buckets because of his nice size and nonstop motor.

Why take him at 12 when there are players who actually played better, with similar ceilings? Hell, I'd take Stephen Zimmerman over Skal at this point.

Go ahead and look at his per 40, it doesn't mean ****. You know what does? In a season where Kentucky desperately needed any sort of inside presence, Skal, with all of his talents and skills, couldn't get more than 15 mpg. At the end of the season, during the conference tournament, he had 30 minutes total. He did play more in the NCAAT, but when matched up against a big guy with talent (Thomas Bryant) he couldn't do anything. Bryant meanwhile had one of the best games of his year.

No one should be recruiting Skal to be an inside presence. That's not what he is. He's not a paint scorer, and he's not a guy you run your offense through. He's a pick-and-pop player and floor spacer at this stage. If he never becomes more than this, you live with it. He's the best combination of length, quickness and shooting touch you'll find after Bender is off the board.

The first skill he needs to develop before anything else is passing.

To be playable he will need to rebound at least on the defensive end. I just see other guys who have some of the same tools and actually use them... it's easier to develop a jumpshot than to develop heart and toughness.

Interesting debate.

First bentley i like you man. Stay strong

As for hayward i would love to see what they can get this offseason and do. Ddr i think would be a great compliment to hayward.

With that said if the jazz decided to trade hayward i think he is worth more than just the 3rd pick. There would need to be one of bostons 2017 pick.

The jazz draft murray. With the 12th pick the best big available. Let us assume skal for arguments sake.

In the offseason i would target barnes. I think that he can be a very solid piece and could give the jazz similar production to hayward.

Exum, mack, neto
Murray, burks maybe switch depending on burks health
Barnes, hood, ingles
Favors, lyles, zipser
Gobert, withey, skal or other big at 12

I like barnes and he knows what it is like to win.

Barnes is so overrated especially by Jazz fans. Hayward is twice the player he is. I think Jazz fans love Barnes so much because if GS hadn't tanked he probably would be on the Jazz.

I just don't think you can watch Harrison Barnes and come away impressed. He is so average. He shoots the three well because he is wide *** open all the time. He can't create his shot and is a so-so defender.

Half the time I don't even know the guy is out there.

I don't see how people can say Skal's floor is Frye or even just a rotation player when he could hardly manage being a decent rotation player in college.

And he will get paid 20 million this offseason.

Apparently you don't know much about jazz fans. For every one who likes barnes there are 10 who don't.

Kay Felder> Tyler Ulis?

Discuss!

Draft them both and put one on the others shoulders to make a full NBA player.

I'd take either in the second round, but don't see them as anything except backups.
