Following 2016 potential draftees

Korkmaz is pretty impressive. One thing I am hesitant on is everything seems to come from him being ball-dominant and in iso. Even his pick and rolls appeared to break down into one on one play. The skills are definitely there tho.

Draftexpress seems to think so.. NBAdarft no..

I don't think so..

It's close though..

In a perfect best-case scenario Brown probably has more upside..

3pt shooting is the great equalizer these days though and Murray's the best in this draft.

41% from the college 3 is the best in the draft? Dont think so. Korkmaz shoots about 46% from the longer FIBA line.

Just watched some Luwawu highlights too. He reminds me of Rockets style wing players. Long athlete that can spot up shoot. I think he could be a good 3rd or 4th wing someday. Mostly looks like a athlete playing among boys in his highlights.

Tyler Dorsey who's currently in this draft pool is a better prospect than Taylor..

Rumor floating about Dorsey is an interesting one for a team such as the Jazz... He could remain in the draft, fall wherever and go play pro in Greece..

If thats the plan he'd be a great pick in the 2nd round to stash..

I'm still an Olivier Hanlan fan, Dorsey is a better project though.. Massive age difference..

Hanlan was pretty mediocre with Zalgiris this year. Dont think we will ever see him in a Jazz uni.

To me Korkmaz seems worse than Hezonja and Devin Booker (and even Oubre) from last year, and he certainly doesn't stack up well vs Terrance Furgeson, or Malik Monk next year..

Definitely get the feeling that from 12 he'd be at least a minor reach.. I'd also speculate that the lottery wings in 2018 will be better too.. He certainly doesn't posses the raw talent of a Hamidou Diallo, Luka Doncic or even Brian Bowen..

lmao that video is awesome

You've gotta be kidding me...

Are you being serious? Check the stats. However, the question is who is the best 3pt shooter, not who the better player is. If you are asking better player of course I would go with Murray. I was very impressed with Murray during the Pan Am games. I watched Korkmaz play in the Euroleage against men and he can stroke it without question.

lmao that video is awesome

To bad he is playing with Real Madrid (who just got knocked out of the Euroleague playoffs) as far as him getting playing time, but every time I saw him play he was very impressive. Singed pro contract when he was 13. Draft eligible in 18. We should be way to good to draft him but one never knows.

I checked the stats and Jamal Murray made 1½x more 3's than Furkan attempted..

Yeah and again Korkmaz plays in a pro league on one of the best teams in Europe so obviously his playing time was much less and Korkmaz is actually younger than Murray. Also did you include his Turkish league and Euroleague stats? I am not a homer even when it comes to NC players so I call it like I see it, but again I really like Murray.

You brought up Furkan Korkmaz shooting on a longer 3pt line like it means something.. It means nothing..

So let me get this straight.. Furkan didn't have an opportunity to shoot volume 3's because he was buried on the bench.. so he's to be given the benefit of the doubt???

Jamal Murray is proven as a high volume, high percentage 3pt shooter, which is what got D'Angelo Russell drafted over Jahlil Okafor last year..

Korkmaz on the other hand is a specialist..

Jason Kapono isn't a better 3pt shooter than Damian Lillard, I don't care what the %'s say..

Settle down now. Just my opinion. Sorry if I am questioning a KY player. Lets not act like 41% is the best thing in the world though from the college line.
