What's new

Following 2016 potential draftees

I've got my new Exum (have I mentioned I mentioned him first, here.. and before ANY mock draft knew his name?).

SF out of Lithuania that is being scouted hard right now but NOWHERE on any mocks. 6'9 and VERY fluid (or so I've been told)... haven't even seen a clip yet.

Being called the next huge defensive players, LONG arms (needs some weight - skeletal like at this point) and so focused one scout said he was afraid his eyes would bleed. Lol? (Or wtf?) All I know is the hype is about to hit big time because everyone is in the know now... that's in the know.

Anyway, like I said, I've not even seen a picture yet (supposed to get some vid later tonight).
Oh, and by the way, he'd be in the '17 draft not this upcoming.

Name? I do have that.

Baubas Ziburinis

I just realized the date has already passed for the early entrance applications. Underclassmen wanting to be draft eligible had to file paperwork before midnight on the 24th. The early entrants can change their mind up until June 13, which is after the Chicago camp and the lottery order is determined, and just 10-days before the draft.

The rules are different for international players, I'm not sure what they are.

For NCAA college players the deadline to withdraw this year is May 25th.

For intl guys it is June 13th. Last year 3/4s of them withdrew. I know Slavica cant shoot right now but if he ever does he has NBA athleticism to be a good player so I would not mind #60 on him.

I'm guessing he's born in 2001 or later?? There's not a whisper about that name on twitter/google or on the Lithuanian FIBA youth teams that I looked at..

Of course his name probably has all sorts of diacritical marks in it..

I'm guessing you think he's better than Oton Jankovic and Sekou Doumbouya?

I do not follow int'l guys, at all, unless they're a known UK target. I'm just passing along info.

still after the Chicago Camp and the lottery. I wonder how many will show up to Chicago and then back out of the draft.

I would think with moving the deadline out to be more favorable for kids to test the waters.. we'll see quite a bit withdraw.
