Following potential 2012 draftees

I feel that PG is a position that requires more mental fortitude and BB IQ than other positions. Sure, athleticism is great, but they should be able to decipher defenses and be the leader of the offense to an extent. So, it may be a good idea to get a PG that has more basketball experience than one that has limited college experience.

I'm not suggesting looking at 3 or 4 year guys because of that, but rather because they tend to get overlooked because they usually lack the potential their unproven freshman counterparts do.

Trey Burke. Freshman PG going to Michigan. https://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/player/gamelog/_/id/56670/trey-burke

Has pretty good stats thus far. 17 and 9 against Duke. Probably not coming out this year, but who knows maybe some PG's will come out earlier this year knowing there is a lack of PG prospects.

Being a Michigan fan Burke has been impressive. He was the player of the year for the state of Michigan yet was overlooked by many teams. Him and Hardaway Jr. create the best backcourt they have had since the Fab5 days.

I would love to see Burke in a Jazz uniform as I think he has 'potential' to be a very good NBA PG. He is more of a pass first point guard which the Jazz need. His shot right now is inconsistant but he can both create for himself as well as distribute. Also he is small (Being 18 years old) and will need to put on some weight to play at the next level.

Glad someone is watching or noticing Michigan basketball again :)

Ok dudes, I like MKG, but how much of a difference does one good wing defender make?

It is a start, every little improvement helps. Having said that, I do not follow the college players enough to make a truly informed decision.

Jazz look like a top 3 lottery team at the moment. With that said, who do we want: Barnes, Drummond, or Davis? I'd probably throw PJIII in there as well. Personally, I'd have a tough time deciding between Drummond and Davis if that scenario presented itself.

Davis by a smidge over Drummond. No teams would have a chance against the dueling uni-brows of Davis and Kanter.

Good thing about a #15 pick is that it will be a perfectly logical place to draft Marshall. I feel like anything before 12 would be too high for him.

Jazz will trade up with the GS pick using Harris, Jefferson, Bell or Miles. We can't continue to add rookies without being able to give them minutes. Maybe they will get a third pick preferably a lotto pick. Make it happen KOC

yeah GS pick is ours, and Jazz look like 1-5 pick. but if we add two quality rookies, half of our team will have less than three years experience,
KOC will wait to trade deadline and shake things up.

but this is very trilling to have chance for 1 pick isn't it?
