Following potential 2012 draftees

You've made it abundantly clear that you don't want Gilchrist. That's fair and I think you have solid reasons that support your concerns.
Having said that, Gilchrist has had monster games (24 and 19, for example), always stuffs that stats against top 15 competition, and you have never once said anything positive about those games ... again, fair enough.

So you pick last nights game to 'look at the boxscore' and ask if he was injured when the stats show; 10pts, 4rbs, 4asts, 1blk .. with better than 50% FG and 100% from the line. Kind of ignorant to ask if he's injured, imo. Though I'm unsure if your question had an ounce of sincerity, I'll answer.

No, he wasn't injured. MKG is a load of a scorer on the nights when his teammates' shots aren't falling or the offense becomes stagnant. Last night, his team was rolling and he just did all the little things to support his team. With Davis grabbing 27pts, 14rbs, and 7blks and 5 players in double figures, MKG just didn't feel the need to take more than 7 shots.

Hope that helps.

Calm down bro. I looked at the boxscore at the 15 minute mark in the 2nd half and saw he was 0-1 from the field, 2 of 2 from the FT line, had 1 rebound, 2 TO's and 1 steal. I didn't say it at the end of the game. I then promptly turned the game on for a second and saw he wasn't in the game at the time. Obviously I didn't watch any of last nights game because of the Jazz game.

Jeremy Lamb's 3pt% is plummeting. Was recently 46%, iirc. His last 4 or 5 games he's 3 for 18 and now, for the year, he's around 35% ... roughly the same % as Andre Drummond's FT% .. ouch.

Nah, just doing all the **** work. He's playing well .. but hasn't been trained by Boozer.

Davis on the other hand is ...... unbelievably good.

I have to say, MKG's shooting form on jumpers looks like Ronnie Brewer's. Not sure why he hasn't fixed that.

Coaching staff working slowly on his form and release. His shot isn't terrible, but the form is so bad it won't likely get any better without an overhaul.
Right now he's bringing the ball to the opposite side of his head of his shooting arm prior to releasing. That's what gives him the hitch. Taking it slowly rather than trying to fix it overnight.

It's not just a hitch, it's the way he positions the ball and that his shooting hand comes off the ball sideways. Maybe this was just a few shots I saw, but he missed a 15' jumper badly like he had little control over the ball.

His mechanics are poor, but he's hitting a higher FG% (55) than any of Barnes or Miller. Even his 3pt shooting % (35) is roughly equal to QMIller, Brad Beal, and JLamb. That's why the staff is taking it slowly.

Right now looking at positioning I would say that q miller is our best chance. There is a chance if barnes doesn't turn it on the second half like last year he might slide. I could see a team taking miller ahead of Barnes because he has more potential.

We're a mess as to whether this draft has any relevance for us ... Having said that, no one (nobody at all) will take QMiller ahead of Barnes). IF we have a pick, I do 'sense' we have a shot at Miller .. and I wouldn't be upset.

Kids I think make a better pro than college ..

- Miller
- Rivers
- a few others that are not on the radar
