Following potential 2012 draftees

I guess Marshall, because he definitely makes players better. Just look at what he did his freshman year for UNC when he took over as the starter, night and day difference in the team.

Machado could be also, but I really have no clue to how he plays and he hasn't played anyone great yet.

To me Marshall has more questions than Rivers. I would take Rivers over Marshall.

I just wish Marshall would show he can either get by his man, or knock down the open jumper consistently. If he can't do either, it would be hard for him to make players better in the NBA. And I'm not sure he's worth the risk in the 12-14 range.

How many true PG's are starting in the league? I would say out of the top 10 I would only put DWill and CP3 as pure points. All the rest are more of a shooting PG. Am I missing someone else?

Steve Nash, Rondo, Kyrie Irving, Rubio (off the top of my head).

As of right now Rivers isn't a PG at all. He has poor assist numbers (on a team that is lights out from deep, you think he would be able to get more on just kick outs) and averages more TO's than assist.

Yea, I wasn't thinking about Nash at all. Irving is not a pure point. Rubio is not a top 10 IMO. Rondo is in a class all his own. I think that Rivers comes from the Westbrook/Rose mold. It took both of them a couple of years to understand the PG role and even now they still don't do a great job of being a pure point.

Irving is the same kind of PG Paul and Williams are. Just because he doesn't (yet) have gawdy assist numbers doesn't mean he isn't a pure point. He is only 20 years old and is on the Cavs. He is a pure point guard who can also shoot and score.

PKM is Ryan Harrow a true PG? or if anyone knows anything.. Im looking over future PG prospects and I don't know much about that kid. Maybe Shannon Scott might be someone to look at in the future as well. Just lookin ahead. Not alot to go off on Scott but, he was considered one of the best playmaking PG of his class

Harrow is a true PG and is better than Teague. He's a little small, but quick as hell and an elite athlete. Pure PG, yes.

Yeah, see if he's the best PG in the league in a couple years.

is that what you are predicting? Wasn't sure if that's what you believe or if it was sarcasm. I personally think Kyrie will be very good .. top 5 good. Best in the NBA? Doubt he ever sniffs that level.
