He said (paraphrasing), "LMAO, you talkin' about Chris Vernon? That dude HATES Calipari, HATES UK .. and goes out of his way to say anything negative he can .. that isn't a total crack at his own credibility."

He went on to say that he was a bit surprised by Magette, but that he's not even close to Teague. He said the kid hit some shots but was WAY outclassed athletically, regardless what the Memphis 'hack' said. For what it's worth, this friend of mine feels the same way I do about Teague .. will be solid, but nothing elite.

Thanks, I wondered if if was something far more simple, like Teague with a bad ankle sprain, or 4th workout in 5 days, but what you got was much better gossip. Like others have said I don't care if you are faking or for real, you add an interesting element to the conversation.

There was another Grizzily guy talking about he was not convinced about Teague at #25. Memphis wouldn't put the negative word out about Teague planning to take him all along?

Couldn't tell you. I doubt any member of the franchise is doing that .. but every (EVERY) Memphis media personality HATES Calipari and UK .. so take it all with a grain of salt is my advice.
 
So several NBA guys want to punk Hayward because he is a baby faced, skinny white guy, right? Would Magette even make it out of Summer League alive?

Interesting story, I hope he gets a chance somewhere.
 
Lets trade for Jimmer. He is a perfect fit. He can really really spread the floor. It would give Al enough time to operate on da low block.

I asked this guys opinion .. he said he won't get drafted but he'll definitely get some invites (he didn't have inside knowledge, just stating his opinion).
 
How no one's posted about the Pistons Bobcat trade?
That has to change the draft and future trade picture.

No, Bobcats will still draft Thomas Robinson and the Pistons still need a defensive center or wing player.
